HI 10 : One powerful little mic.

For the price of this little mic there really is nothing to complain about. It picks up sounds within its frequency range very well indeed. I bought it to mic up live instruments which it has proved excellent for Banjo, mandolin, mandola, ude, violin, viola and cello, autoharp and dulcimer. I've even used it for vocals a couple of times for which it is also good. For guitar however I would not recommend it as live in become a feedback nightmare and in the studio it's too tinny. This is also great for recording symbols as you would expect from a microphone which comes in packaging specifying it as a mic for high hat. I love it's small size and tidy and robust construction. I am confident that it will serve me well (within it's limitations) for many years.
