TE-70 Black Paisley : Good value is my initial thought.

I just received this guitar and have about 5 hours of playing on it. The finish was not perfect, but acceptable. The pickups came in a little hot, so I cranked them down a little. Much better. The action is a little high, but not worth messing with right now. The tuners are just so so. You have to crank them slightly sharp and they will flat a little when released. The neck feels great! The nut seems to be fair, but there is a slight buzz which probably indicates a little work on the nut is necessary. Or maybe just work on my finguring. I think i need to round the front corners a little since they are very sharply cut. Intonation was good. I was a little worried about the three saddle standard configuration, but I noticed that the holes are there to configure to six saddles if problems develop. The pickups have a reasonable sound. I can see why the telecaster is popular in Nashville. The three way switch, tone and volume controls are very nice. I have the feeling it will become my "go to" guitar instead of using my Les Paul standard pro. I play mostly classic rock and country and this guitar will work for both. I will know more of how I feel in about a month or so. I will repost if there are any changes.

I'm glad I got it. It was delivered to my doorstep while I was out. The tracking info says it is still in Miami and, not here at my Atlanta home. Of course it took five days to clear customs in Germany. That seems to be an excessive time to me.
