EBow Plus : Great fun but very difficult to use with bass.

This is a great little product. The casing and switch feel a little fragile but only time will show how they hold up. I was intending to use this for bass guitar but the guiding tracks on the ebow doesn't line up with the strings on a bass guitar. I was aware of this before I purchased it but I had seen videos of people using it for bass and figured this could be learned easily. It turned out it is extremely difficult to use it for bass, requiring a LOT of practise and precision. After a couple of hours of testing I still can't get anything useful out of it. On guitar on the other hand it sounds great and is reasonably easy to use (although for once reading the manual is actually very much recommended!).
