EBow EBow Plus
Effect for guitarDespite its frequent use in classics of rock and pop history, the EBow plays an outsider's role in the large pool of guitar effects - often heard, rarely recognised is the motto here.

A handy way of getting a new sound
Ok it is a one trick pony, but it does that trick very well.
I found the sound of the elbow in classic recordings
I have had my elbow plus for several years. The shape and design of the ebow is now a design classic. The led string finder helps with accuracy tracking or strumming strings. Shape allows it to be used pointing up or down the strings depending on pickups. Found it works on any metal stringed instrument for leads, pads and drones.i.e bass, guitar, dobro, mandolin, banjo as well as guitar
good
only works with electric pick ups so no use for piezo and a bit tricky to use, i got the TC electonic infinite sustainer pedal and it imo is much better solution
I wish i purchased it sooner
Use this live with bass guitar, add in a bunch of effects (panning, flanger, reverb, delay) and manually use a wah wah to keep changing the sound. Instant moving soundscape which sounds huge and psychedelic! It has become indispensable for me now.
More difficult to use than I thought
Great device but it's more difficult to use than I thought
it is what it is and does what it does...!
useful tool
takes time to learn how to use it but very cool for creating drone sounds
Great piece of kit to have in your arsenal
You may not use this a lot but it offers a great effect that if you need, you have.
dropped one point for handling because it takes a tiny bit of practice to get the positioning right
Brilliant
Don't know why I didn't buy one of these years ago, brilliant, love the sound and build/shape of the proper ebow. Brilliant on electric guitar and really cool on a resonator.
Great Piece of Kit
These EBows are great quality, sturdy, and sound great. Marked the handling as 4 stars as it would just make things a tad easier if the switch had some sort of indication of which mode you are on, ie normal or harmonic. I rarely use it so always forget which is which. But I'm nit-picking. All round it's a great bit of gear.
