C-3 : The best one for an entry level mic!
It's pretty fantastic that you get three different polar patterns that you can change at will. For an amateur it really helps to decide how you are going to use the mic and understand how it responds to different scenarios. The mic is really well built, heavy and nice looking. You also get a nice plastic case with excellent cushioning inside, so your mic will last for long. Maybe it isn't the best condenser mic out in the world, but it is almost like an educational device for new users with so many settings to choose from and learn recording.
If you're looking for an entry level condenser mic - this is the one for you!
