760FL Deep Talkin Bass : Love them
I bought them for my 1976 Fretless Precision Bass on the advice of a friend who is a professional bass player. They play amazing, very souple and respect the tonality of the instrument. They are bright without being as bright as roundwounds (of course) or as D'Addario Chromes.
However I found that they are the Flatwounds I tried (and I tried so far the D'Addario Chromes, the Fender, the Dunlop and the Labella Original 1954) who respect the most the range of tonalities that my Fender Precision has to offer (even limited).
They actually convert me to Flatwounds that I even installed on my Warwick Corvette $$. In sum, a set worth to try out.
