14" Hi-Performance Resonant : wrong purchase - my mistake

remember that thin resonant heads vibrate more rapidly than thicker ones and as such shall transmit vibrations from the toms more rapidly - need I say more when one installs "an extra thin one" like this one - I removed this reso snare head after having played for one hour because the buzz was driving me crazy - the buzz did go away when I repositioned my 10 inch tom (the main cause for the buzzing) but I had to put it in such an awkward position that it was no longer comfortable to hit it properly - I also question the added value of the 2 pads: they are supposed to protect the snare head in case one of the wires would snap but I am now 64 years old, have been playing the drums since the age of 13 and I have never experienced broken snare wires... all this said: the build quality is very good.
