I was looking for a robust and compact monitor, as I play in a busy band every weekend and having a good foldback mix is essential. At this price-point, you'll not find anything even close to the quality of the Behringer.

I've not been disappointed with this purchase. The speaker is tough and has enough volume to cut through, with ease. Placement is critical in a live situation (as with any monitor), so be mindful of feedback if you don't get this quite right. There is sometimes a tendency for the speaker to sound very bass-heavy (particularly with vocals) so take a little time to adjust the tone controls - just setting them to half-way may not do the trick.
