U67 Set : Among Top 3 mics ever made

This is my 3rd Neumann, after U47 and U87.

Basically these 3 make a holly grail of classic Neumann microphones.

Of course it is still Telefunken ELAM251 and AKG C12 to be considered, but if I would be hard pressed to choose one, it would be U67.

This re-creation is basically original U67 to the core.

I only replaced tube with NOS Telefunken tube and voila.

It has all the depth, width and translation of the best U67 I had chance to work before.

And it is very affordable, compared to vintage mics these days.

Kudos to meisters from Neumann.
