Mono-Set MK 41 : My favorite

It's hard to use any other microphone from my collection after I've got this one. It is not the case when you need something special to hear the difference, the difference is evident. It's reproduce the natural tembr of voice or instrument. It doesn't add any hoarseness or emphasiness of obertones. But the most important, in ensamble, when I put different microphones for different instruments there is often the case when loud instruments (e.g. voice) are captured by microphones which I set for gentle instruments (a guitar could be a good example) out-of-axis and I often get the off-axis sound distorted, so I need to e.g. put cardroids back to vocalists which is tricky and not always possible when I record a live performance. But this microphone doesn't cause distortion for off-axis sounds, so the overal picture will be clear if you can use this microphone for gentle instruments in an ensemble.
