V7 Alder-5 FL AWH 2nd Gen : Waaaay more bass than what you pay for!
This bass is honestly astounding. I’ve played Sire guitars before, but never basses. I’ve always wanted a fretless so I ordered this.
Right out of the gate, it was set up perfectly. Great action, great tone, no sharp frets, just played like an absolute dream. It sounds great on recordings. Handles effects well, and has a massive array of tones. I was able to make this sound like a very smooth, Jaco-style bass and was also able to get very aggressive tones like you’d find in death metal or djent. It does it all.
