Theremini : Excellent for new players and djs/ producers...

The thing has quite an extensive range of options, effects, scales, auto tuning...if you read this you have probaably read some specs...i have a few theremins and this one can act like the real thing...but i like more the expressiveness of a theremin with more octaves and a longer aerial/antenna..

also the thing is quite compact, i would probably like to have more distance between the two because acting on the volume will somehow interact with the pitch. i found the outo tunig mode enjoyable to use and would probably help novices and djs/performers as it give some serious playability/ musicality. I hate when people use the theremin just for "spooky" effects (a la jimy page), the theremin is a beatiful musical instrument that requires quite some musical ear...the auto tunig will help a lot with that. but i don't like it for my own playing, is a bit like cheating, it takes away some of the challenge of the theremin...but it can be turned off luckily!
