It looks like a fish!
Well, my overall experience is very positive, especially with custom presets. Technically everything was okay except noise speaker and a few loose knobs. Very beginner friendly and perfect for any types of gigs!
good choice for live expiriance
Great Product
This is a great product for the money. Great sounds from the get-go. I wish it came with a stand.
Not the theremin you are looking for.
Don't let this near a window. It will turn yellow within hours.
Сurious and inexpensive
Very curious thing. Has potential.
Moog Synth with Theremin UI
My first ever Theremin...even it's not a real boy.
It's great fun to create loads of different sounds.
But by far it doesn't sound like the Etherwave nor do typical movements
work. Still I really enjoy it but looking for a Etherwave soon.
Amazing device!
Bought as a gift for a friend who has wide interest in music. Tested it for a few days - it's absolutely lovely thing. Solid build, nice materials, very adequate size for such device, it will fit as eye-catcher on a shelve, but also it could bring you a lot of fun as an amusement muscial device. I will definitely get an extra one for myself!
Really good instrument. All works correctly.
Eat your heart out Jimmy Page
This little theramin is so cute and has so many great features, whether it be a variety of sounds, or effects and quantizing.
This last one is the big feature. In smooth frequency (original) mode it's hard to land on the right note in tune if you want to use this for anything more than just wailing Whole Lotta Love sounds. So you can turn on quantizing which "snaps" to the next note in a pre-define scale. I don't understand the names of these scales (Mixy-dixylothian?? No idea; ask Steve Vai) but I do appreciate being able, out of the box, to play tuneful things with this.
Not only does it snap to notes, you can even fine-tune the degree to which it snaps, giving you a little, *literal* wiggle room for wiggling your hand and giving the notes some vibrato.
This is a serious instrument and a cool party play-piece at the same time. Anyone can sound good on it, or you can "go pro" and play it like a boss. Brilliant fun.
Excellent for new players and djs/ producers...
The thing has quite an extensive range of options, effects, scales, auto tuning...if you read this you have probaably read some specs...i have a few theremins and this one can act like the real thing...but i like more the expressiveness of a theremin with more octaves and a longer aerial/antenna..
also the thing is quite compact, i would probably like to have more distance between the two because acting on the volume will somehow interact with the pitch. i found the outo tunig mode enjoyable to use and would probably help novices and djs/performers as it give some serious playability/ musicality. I hate when people use the theremin just for "spooky" effects (a la jimy page), the theremin is a beatiful musical instrument that requires quite some musical ear...the auto tunig will help a lot with that. but i don't like it for my own playing, is a bit like cheating, it takes away some of the challenge of the theremin...but it can be turned off luckily!
