NYS SPP-L1 : Does as expected
Well built, well designed and easy to use patchbay. I never knew I needed one until I got one - if that makes any sense!
The output from your gear (e.g preamps, compressors) plugs into the top row on the back, the inputs from your gear (e,g interface inputs) plugs into the bottom row on the back. All being well, signal flows top to bottom. If you want to swap anything around (e.g. patch in a compressor between a preamp and the interface), just plug in some patch cables to the front... I recommend getting the bundle that sells the patchbay and cables together.
Comes with some paper labelling strips. Very easy to set up and seems very reliable.
