Boss GA-FC EX

It could be a little pricey, but is very well constructed (as normally Boss hardware is), and it can take even some abuse with no doubt. The case is metallic, very sturdy, the buttons are quality ones, easy to access (it could require an initial learning curve to get use to the distances between them) and allow us to access the patches or the effects as needed. It support even the use of expression pedals and also to control a second katana, but I didn't use any of that yet. Right now I'm enjoying changing effects and patches while playing with minimum effort. The only thing to take on count, is that the included TRS is fine for home use, but it could not be enough for stage use in my opinion, so in that case you may need to buy an extra cable for that.

This thing is more or less indestructible, been gigging heavily with this pedal for a good part of 4 years and it hasn't failed yet. I would have expected the switch to even give out after a while but no, this pedal refuses to break. It's a perfect fit for any pedal board, doesn't take up too much room and attaches to most Velcros well. I'd highly recommend this pedal, works great with other amps as well, I've been using mine as a channel selector for an Orange Dual Terror with no problems whatsoever. The version of this pedal with the LED is also an absolute tank. Great pedal
Quilter UFC-3
Based on 1 reviews
A perfect fit for my Quilter Micropro 2 to select more on/off functions than the 2 way basic switch allows. Even if one wants to stomp down on everything (or almost everything) then two of these (or one plus the basic 2 way switch) is still preferable to the somewhat unwieldy ufc-6, especially when it comes to pedal board space planning. For this user, 3 switches is usually more than enough for a portable set up anyway, and the ability to quickly chain various Quilter foot switches via standard CAT5 cable (just in case) is genius. Top marks Pat! A well deserved 5 stars all round.
Marshall MRPEDL90010 MG

I bought this because I purchased a used MG series amp and the previous owner had lost the original pedal. The pedal is solidly built and enables me to switch (fairly) easily between the four channels of my amp. My only complaint is that each switch only toggles between two channels (clean/crunch or overdrive/overdrive two). This prevents me from switching smoothly among all four channels: I can't, for instance, switch from clean to overdive to crunch; I must switch from clean to overdrive, then back to clean and thence to crunch. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but a shade irritating. Overall, it's a very nice product. I recommend it.
Orange FS-1

Bought this on/off switch to be able to access effects swiftly and no fumbling about with the desk on stage at a live performance. Simple two taps on the Orange footswitch and you have no effect for talking to your audience Two more taps to turn off and have your effect for vocal colour also i wanted something i could see in the dark and with the bright orange light perfect. I bought this item as Orange have been around for years and there reputation is excellent sturdy and robust i know this footswitch will last me for years Buy one and you will not be disappointed.

This is a really satisfying switch! I needed a foot switch for my Engl Thunder Head Amplifier to switch between Channels "Clean to Crunch" and between "Crunch to Lead". Of course you can buy the original Engl Foot Switch Z-bla. But it costs 79 EUR instead of 29 EUR for the H&K . Furthermore I think the H&K is not only cheaper, it is also as tough and reliable as the Engl Foot switch. And does the H&K fullfil the same functions ? It does! And it does a lot better! :-) Because it is angled sharper and easier to step on. For me it was one of the best buys ever! ;-) FYI: I am using it since one year and had no problems.
Marshall PEDL-91016 Footswitch

The 2-button pedal that comes with the Marshall DSL40CR is fine, just limited. This larger 6-button footswitch provides more control of the amps it pairs with. The above amp has 4 different channels ranging from clean, through crunch and gain, to ultra gain. So if you want to be able to swap between these easily and on the fly this pedal is a must. And why wouldn't you? It also controls which of the two master volumes a particular channel uses. The amp remembers which one you last used with which channel, as well as whether the effects loop was on, so this footswitch makes it all so much easier. The buttons feel positive and sturdy and you can use the supplied cable or any other guitar/patch cable. Recommended!

I ordered this pedal for the Tsl 601 I've had for years now, because the original footswitch had gone missing during gear storage/transport with the band I was playing in. And now I'm actually glad the other one got lost, since it had this weird tendency to mostly switch properly but sometimes it would switch to the wrong channel. But this new one is so much better. It feels more solid. The original one felt a bit lighter, the pedal itself and the switches made a hollow clunking noise every time I stomped on it. This one doesn't do that. You step on it, it gives a quiet click and does its job, switching back and forth through three channels without any problems.

If you buy the Katana, this pedal is a must in order to get the most juice out of it. Its functionality is really simple: it allows to switch between the different tones/channels you have stored in your amp and toggle on/off individual effects while playing. The pedal itself feels quite sturdy and it is super simple to use. This being said, I would say it is quite expensive for what it is. PROS: - Easy to use. - Well built. - Allows you to access the full potential of your Katana. CONS: - Pricey, especially taking into account its simplicity and in comparison to the price of the amp itself. Overall, I would say that if you have a Katana and have the money it is totally worth it.

I bought this to extend the functionality of a Lin6 HX Stomp so that I could access the tuner and mode select options whilst still having 3 FX stomps from the main unit and with the addition of a single TRS patch cable it does the job very nicely. The unit is sturdy and well built and should stand the test of time although if you're worried about kicking it around or it tipping over when might need to access it mid song, you might want to attach it firmly to a pedalboard. Not a problem for me since the functions I've assigned to it are more for convenience rather than things I need to access real time. There's a dipswitch inside the case to select TS or TRS mode and functions can be assigned in a matter of moments by setting footswitch 4/5 from within the HX stomp menus. It's not a...
