Good speaker for the money

The design is great, but the built quality is not the best. I bought 2 and one of them has the volume knob poorly calibrated. The ribbon speaker is weird if you are not used to it. It sounds very clear but comparing it to Krk, I am not a fan of Adams. Also, the woofer feels cheap. The back port for the bass is a big no-no.

Nice for its price!

The sound is very good for this price range. The front plate is plastic so it doesn't feel so robust. Of course the sound can't compared next to a7x but for more budget-friendly alternative is value for money!

Unique Reference monitor

Hello! I was using adam t8v before. Since I moved my studio into my room and the space became smaller, I needed to get 7 inches. It is a product that can be purchased even to obtain better hearing, especially at mid frequencies. It may satisfy you in terms of price/performance. There is no need to take risks by purchasing another monitor in this price range. Stay with the music!

In general good studio monitors , I feel that it lacks a little more power , about 90W each would be ideal , if it weren't for the slight loss of medium I would opt for the larger 8 inch

Nice and cheap

The assembly quality is good.

Tweeters, as in older models. The sound quality is quite good, perfect for home and small studios.

I am using Adam TV7 since around six months now and I am quite happy with it. Good quality, sound, frequency response and price.

Good active monitors for studio or home studio. The build quality is high, very well constructed, very solid. The sound is very "dry" not "characteristic", could be not very warm at high volumes; is quite true/accurate to the music/productions played thru it.

In my opinion at low/normal volumes the monitors sound great.

They don't have a huge amount of volume indeed. I keep it at 3 o'clock (probably few +dbs) in a home studio. Frequency response is quite good, depends a lot on the room treatments.

Quality-price I think is good for an entry level professional monitors to start making music with professional equipment.

Always make sure your chain is balanced in quality: mic, interface, monitors etc... (not something cheap with something too good)

Happy with it!

Treat your room!

When I first got these monitors I felt quite bad because I literally couldn't hear the C3 frequency. This was because the sound bouncing on the wall canceled out the sound coming directly from the monitors. I had 4 mattresses lying around so I built a little half cubical around my desk and this made the sound not drop out at important frequencies. Of course the frequency dips in some places but nothing drops out completely.

If there is something I would have wanted it would have been a little more precise settings on the speaker for room treatment. I have it set on max boost on the low frequencies and max decrease on the highs. And I think I would have turned them even more if I had the chance. I guess I just have to treat my room a little more but I am satisfied with the sound now

As a side note I really enjoy not wearing headphones all the time. There is a big difference between headphones and monitors, but in my humble opinion I feel like you can't go wrong with headphones (despite the annoyance of wearing them and not being able to play sound to other people in the room). You might not hear the bass all that well through headphones and you will certainly not feel it but the sound is much more accurate through headphones (if you have good ones). I sort of feel like playing music through my speakers muddies up the sound a bit. The stereo difference is also big and I feel like the monitors brings more warmth and emotion than the very accurate ( and robotic, if you will,) sounding headphones might be doing. It feels like I can pinpoint right where the sound is coming from somewhere between the monitors while in mono and the hardpanned sounds are not as hardpanned! I've been using the DT 770 PRO and i still use them when I want the sound to be more "accurate". If you can afford monitors I would recommend!

A problem I had was the sound of my computer. It isn't loud, but it brings this hiss to listening through monitors that my headphones would have blocked. I sort of solved this issue by strapping my computer to the underside of my standing desk. This mixed with the fact that I have matresses for walls and a matt on the floor makes the computer hard to hear and it is ideal for monitor listening!

???????????, ?? ?? ?????

The monitors are not loud, which is good. By turning the volume up by half, you can work with them in a room of 12-15 square meters. The build quality is excellent, the packaging is reliable. Toman puts the pair in another box. We came to Russia for 8 days including 2 days off.

Cons: No rubber stand legs included. Very narrow sound direction, you definitely need to set them according to the triangle rule, otherwise all the sound and details are lost. Switches to +2 -2 Db deprive the sound of detail, while the bass itself is even a lot in them. It is not as accurate as on the monitors above the class, but it is there. Just spread out and more blows. I don't feel the detail of the timbres and effects. However, the entire frequency range is present.

Positive. For this price, a really cool sound. They can work from the RCA of ordinary tulips as household acoustics. You don't get tired of the sound. I didn't experience the WOW effect, the sound is good, but nothing more. In the reviews, everyone writes that it's fantastic, and my expectations were overstated. ( I've heard a lot of monitors)

OK

First off; I think overall these are good speakers for the money.

The only thing they are lacking is a bit of bite in the midrange.

I use them primarily for tracking instruments & producing in general (in conjunction with a pair of avantone mixcubes) and they do their job well. But I really wouldn't want to mix an on them.

Good for everyday work.

I got a pair of these to work on every day basis as an addition to ancient M-Audio BX8 Studiophiles (1st series from 2004, their best!), which sounds bit more like Yamahas and lead to ear fatigue.

T7V is a real opposite. The sound is clear enough to mix.

Bass is hyped a bit, but it is ok. I can work for hours on these without any ear bleeding.

Feature wise.. not much, really. They cant handle +4db balanced signal and distort, forced to switch to -10. PWM amplifier is not a bad thing after all, but it crackles when setting levels.

Love it more than my KRK

Love it more than my KRK! KRK sold!

This is my new love

OKAY

Too much on the Low End for pro mix applications, too much dip on the Mid End (also has to do with the powerful low end), Highs are Chrystal clear. Mid and Lows be fixed with a systemwide EQ.

Perfect for bedroom studios/small scaled applications. Stands with the best in the prise category, along with the HS Yamaha series.

Best monitors in the price range without a doubt but...

These are some amazing studio monitors for the price I have to say. The sound is very clear and punchy. Low end is tight and sub heavy, highs are crisp and smooth. I have been using these for about a month now and I'm pretty happy with them. The build quality is decent as well. But they do have some things that I really dislike in terms of design itself.

#1: On/off light is on the back, not the front. What's the point of this light if you can't see it? Really annoying that I need to go to the back just to check the status. Many other brands in the same price range have this. It's Just a stupid decision imo.

#2: When turning the volume knob on the monitors it lightly crackles when playing music through them. This is on both units so I'm sure it's the same on all of them.

#3: Back ported bass ports. All Adam's previous models have been front ported, why change now? Their PR rep claims it's to keep costs down? This doesn't make sense because all their previous research and development has been with front ported models. Changing now does not make sense 'to keep costs down'. Their previous 'budget' model the F series had this, so all the PR talk about doing this to keep the cost low is simply not true.

#4: Only one balanced input. An extra TRS input would have been nice. They keep saying this is to keep to cost down, fair enough. But why can a lot of other companies that make models in the same price range do these things but not Adam Audio?

So all in all, great monitors sound wise. But with some ridiculous design decisions for sure. Their previous 'budget' series (F series) had both front ported bass ports and an essential on/off light on the front so it's really stupid they decided to drop these features. I would have

easily paid ¤50 to a ¤100 more for these (imo) essential features.

Great sound at a great price

Very happy with these speakers. Very clear with good stereo imaging. Slightly scooped in the mids but nothing seriously detrimental. Bass reproduction and accuracy was better than I was expecting without a sub. Highs are crisp. Honestly a great product at its price, both enjoyable to listen through for completed projects and accurate enough to make changes when working.
