Perfect on the road practice pad

But not interesting for practicing rimshots. It's not comfortable for practicing in French/American grip. But my advice: you can easily attache it on a drum throne: put it on top and fasten the belts.

Ahead Of The Game

Ahead do make excellent products and this wee little Knee Pad is the best I've ever owned. Well made, very easy to use. The rubber is a wee bit bouncy and just slightly on the thick side for rebounds. It's still a fine pad indeed. Strokes need to be precise for it's 5" surface. I use it a lot and will last for years.Fantastic value too,and fits nicely in my stick bag. A cool product.

Just the ticket.

great for practice on the go. Ideal for a session on the train or in the car or in the park. Fits neatly in my bag and securely on my knee, great piece of kit.

ahead 5" knee pad

Excellent pad both for warming up and practicing on the go, it's large enough, it's got a nice rebound to it which doesn't make it overly easy to work on and it's a bit on the heavy side but it's more steady this way i think. It has a nice rubber on the bottom side so the vibrations from the sticks don't transfer to your leg which is great. Highly recommended for a portable practice pad.

Durable and lightweight

This kneepad has an excellent price/quality ratio. The rubber is thick and glued well, the baseplate is thick metal. Not too heavy. The strap is wide and has more than enough good-quality velcro.

I bought this precisely to go on the road and to this extent it has functioned well. Simple and elegant design.
