For homerecording or live use with small or large pa system this is a good microphone. The sound is crystal clear. Good for picking up all sound even the sound of acoustic guitar close and 1 meter away from the sound hole, but for vocals it is a top class microphone. It is robust. The price is a little bit too expensive.

Sounds crystal clear

Bought this as a replacement for a Shure SM58. The AKG brings out every detail of our singer's (female) voice now. If you run the AKG through an average quality PA setup, it will not show it's possibilities though and you will be disappointed paying the difference. But linked to quality speakers, it's heaven!
