Punchy bass but medium comfortable

I mainly use this for home studio. Mixing and mastering some simple podcast and gaming videos.

This headphone is not power hungry. Smartphones can easily handle this.

My Behringer UMC404HD phones volume is set to 10-15% volume and can be loud when volume is more than that.

PROS:

Detail sound, punchy bass. Its amazing to listen to hiphop or pop with this headphone compare to openback headphone(AKG K-702). Since my age is 26. Maybe I can't hear higher frequencies compare to others.

The treble is smooth and not harsh.

Build quality is not looks cheap.

It filters the external sound great for studying or working alone.

CONS:

It is not comfortable as AKG K-702. If you prefer comfortable but slightly lose on bass then go with that (But K-371 is better sounding).

It feels the headphone press my ear and head inwards.

But I forgot the uncomfortable feeling when I busy doing while wearing this headphone.

Great headphones

I use these headphones for monitoring mics and playback in a theatre, and also mix logic tracks with them. They are comfortable, and sound good, the sound isolation could be a bit better, but not an issue. Its great to have all accessorise including 3 wires (short, long and a coily cable which is ''old school'' awesome). The build quality is good, also the pads are very comfortable. overall a good headset, recommend.

Quite good for techno

I got it due to harman curve and its extended frequency response. It has good sub response. It is quite comfortable but due to the material used in the pads can be little warm sometimes.

It doesn't have sponge on the top part. It is soft plastic.

The real look of the headphone is better than the images.

I mainly produce techno and it can tremble your ears easily :) DT 770 has more soundstage than this headphone but I couldn't feel the bass and sub with dt770.

Overall it is nice to have harman curve headphone in the studio.

AKG wins again

I had bought a pair of Beyerdynamics and they sounded very distant so i returned them and decided to stick with AKG (had owned a cheaper paid in the past). I really love the vibrant and truthiness of sound. If i had to pick a min point, they are a touch on the bright side, but this could simply be the way a song has been mixed. Very comfy. Amazing to get all the leads and the case with it too ;-)

Great sound

The sound quality is absolutely top-notch, goes really deep with sub-bass without ever becoming rumbly or boomy. The mids and highs are both clear and detailed without being hyped. If you come from typical hi-fi headphones with boosted bass and treble, you may find these a little flat, but that is only because they're more neutral than your average headphones.

Very satisfied!

I've been reading about these headphones a lot and decided to try them because of their "Harman curve". I was very pleased with them, they sound great and are actually surprisingly "neutral". I have used them for producing music and for just listening to music and they worked great for both.

The only slight minus is that they are very close to the ears and if you have big ears like me, then you will be touching the insides at times. But it's a really minor thing, otherwise they are very comfortable, the pads feel very nice on the head.

Overall, well worth the money!
