great budget headphones

Easy to wear, large and light. Sounds very good, nothing exaggerated or missing. Using these for voice-over editing during long sessions. A bit flimsy feeling but built correctly for the price.

Amazing for the price

These are perfect for band practices or recording sessions. Their comfort is on a next level, thanks to their ultralight weight and wide earcups with just the right tightness. They stick to the head, although if you have a really small head, it might be an issue, which was a customer's situation once. Sound isolation is very good actually.

The sound is good for the price. There is a resonant bump around 100 - 150 Hz, and another one at higher mids, which can make sibilant voices harsh. The midrange is not very detailed. The low range is very extended, the bass is huge. You can feel the rumble!

So, not good for mixing, and not the best choice for recording vocalists, but great for band practices or playing drums with them.

The built quality is superb, as it is always with AKG products.

Good sound at a price

Used when playing PS4 and liked the sound and comfort. But you may not overpay and buy k72 or k52 for same purpose.

Studio Use

Amazing headphones for studio setting recording. I'm very happy with them since they come in with a 3m long cable which is handy while moving around the studio while recording. No need to take them on-and-off every time.

Good headphones for the price.

I needed a set of closed back headphones for recording in my studio. I needed something with decent sound and good isolation. I also needed them to sit firmly on the head so they don't fall off in the middle of a take. They also needed to be reasonably cheap.

Sound:

Surprisingly good for the price. They're a step up from the (admittedly even cheaper) Superlux headphones I've often used as cheap tracking headphones in the past. The bass response is perhaps a little TOO good, meaning it's not exactly neutral but has a considerable bass boost. This is not something I normally think of as "the AKG sound". Their higher end models are a lot more bass shy. The characteristic, airy AKG highs aren't really here either. I guess these cheaper AKGs are targeted at smartphones rather than recording studios. But they're not bad. Just a little bass heavy and lacking the clarity of the more expensive models. They are nowhere near good enough for mixing (which I personally wouldn't use closed back headphones for anyway) but more than adequate for tracking.

Isolation:

Not exceptional but perfectly adequate for most recording situations.

Comfort:

To be honest I've never been a huge fan of the way AKG headbands sit on my head. They never seem to sit firmly enough when I need to move my head around a bit. For recording I prefer something with a tighter fit that won't fall off when I bend forwards to check the tuner or adjust something in the rack or whatever. To be fair these headphones are far from the worst I've used in this respect but they're not exactly tight fitting either. To put this into context they are tighter than AKG K701 but nowhere near as tight as Beyerdynamic DT-series. One more thing to be aware of is that the ear pads are synthetic which might be a bit clammy after many hours of use. But this may actually be less of a problem because of the looser fit.

Build quality:

Don't expect much at this price. They are quite flimsy and the first time a musician steps/sits on them they will most likely break. To be fair this can be said about most headphones which is why I need cheap headphones for my studio.

To sum it up:

These are far from the best headphones I've used but they are surprisingly good for the price. If you can accept a slightly bass heavy sound and the rather loose AKG-style headband you could do far worse.

These headphones are awesome!!!

I'm actually considering buying more to have on my studio. For less than 50€ you get a really comfortable and great sounding headphones!! Sometimes I do 5/6 hour sessions with them on and even with glasses I finish it with no pain or anything else. They are just great. There are a little bit of bleed in the recordings, but nothing that you can't deal with. I've had them for more than a year and I would totally recommend them to everyone

Nice enough for a few bucks

Sound is good. At first you expect it to be more present but after some time of listening it becomes clear that the sound is well balanced, clear, well defined and no real strain on the ears. This is a good piece for use in our studio, for me to do a first mix but also for the artists to use as monitor headphone.

I love it

I cannot say enough about this headphone, I use it for recreational purposes as well in the home studio. Usually band members that come to my studio fight who want to use the AKGs (I have 2). It is very comfortable to wear it for around 2 hrs non stop (especially that I have glasses)

very good product for it's price

these are my first closed back headphones and they are great. I use them to monitor my inputs and casually listening to music. the sound feels very neutral, all ranges feels accurate. build is nice and they are comfy even for long use sessions. they are over ear headphones which means your ears will be inside the earpads, and the pads are soft. even though it says it blocks outgoing noise on the product's webpage I have to say you'll be disappointed if you wait too much from them, they do block incoming and outgoing noise well, but to an extent. anyways, I have done a lot of research and decided on these mainly because of their low price tag and good reviews, no regrets.

Very comfortable and good sounding

Using these for piano playing. Very comfortable compared to AKG K240 Studio, which also are pretty comfortable. For mixing and monitoring I prefer the 240 since I?m more used to their sound, but the 92 are great for listening and piano playing.

Awesome headphones for price.

Bought to use as digital piano lessons headphones. And sound's is really good for that.

Good quality cable, excellent fit on different heads. Ambrochures are big enough for every human ear :)

Cable have screw-on 3.5->6.3mm adapter, what's really useful.

Drawbacks: cable not detachable(not really a big problem for the price, but still), some sound can be heared outside (so no complete sound isolation), and quality of the ambrochures looks like will not last long.

But for yhe price paid - bargain deal!
