Good sounding budget stage box

Worked first time out of the box with an sq5. Quality product from allen and heath as always.

the best stage box for a&h qu series mixers (yeah its better than the more expensive counterparts like the AB series )

Rock solid

Sits on stage at church and does the job perfectly: big win for us is sending a Cat5e snake to the back of the room, and being able to forget about the old-fashioned clunky multicore snake!

So Glad I bought this

The AR2412 is a great addition to my studio. It works as described and has been solid since I got it. NEver has dropped the signal. The power supply is universal for UK and USA. Build very solid and quality inputs.

The Black Version

The Black Version with the Lock of each input, it make me feel more safe when I plug the cable.

Also, the black color is more suitable to put it on stage.

Overall the preamp is good(whatever purple or black one) and clean, and keep all the signature of Allen and Heath.

i love the way this sits on my amp rack at gigs, I have fitted it into a rack bag so just open each end for air flow then. the pre amps are so powerful in comparison to my old analog desk I use with a QU24 and this box with an ethernet cable make full use of the digital mixing experience.

Very well bulit, lovely colour. Very usefull as a stage rack, just run a cat5 cable between the stage and desk instead of a massive anolouge multicore. Saves a lot of time. Works perfectly with my GLD or QU 32. No issues at all!

Can now place the QU mixer anywhere - this really does integrate seemlessly and combined with a good quality Cat5 cable you really can put the mixer anywhere you like. It simply does what it says on the tin - good quality gear!

Great I/O rack for the GLD-80

24 input, 12 output rack for the GLD-80 / 112.

Well made, Neutrick XLR's, mine has worked flawlessly thus far! Comes with a nice quality cat5 patch lead for connecting to the desk if near by, patch lead is around 2m long (could have done with a short 30cm lead also for patching to an AR84 in the same rack as the patch lead is far to long for that).

Not much else to say if you've a GLD system this is the rack you need!

Only negative points I can thing of are the plastic feet aren't easily removed without opening up the unit (to rack with a 84 below it, they can get in the way) and the IEC input does not have a locking connector or clip to keep the power connector secure.
