Simple to use mixer with lots of functions

Bought this because I have lots of different people with different skillsets having to use it at times. Its a great simple digitals desk with lots of extra functions that can be used if you know a litttle more of how to use it.

High value mixer

Yes, its a very stable mixer i use with years and never bring me into trouble!

Sometimes there will be minor problem on the Qu-drive like recording error, that's one thing need to improve. But the other parts are very good for it price!

If there are Windows remote control thing wil be even better!

Great piece of kit!

Despite my first delivery being faulty, lots of pretty lights but no audio, I have no problem giving this desk five stars.

I expected a steeper learning curve going from an analogue desk to digital, but was up and running in no time.

Now to dive into the guts of what this desk will do of course mean some manual reading, but basic in and out to the DAW (Logic Pro X in my case) was quick and painless.

The sound is flawless to my ears, stuff I had already recorded sounded fuller and with more depth and resolution.

The touch screen works well, very responsive and the graphical readouts are useful.

I have now been using the QU16 for some weeks, I did at the start have some problems with glitching, but after changing from having the QU plugged in to a USB Hub to directly into the computer that seems to have been cured and I have had no other issues. I have had no regrets at all and recommend this desk to anyone thinking of buying.

Qu-16

My first time with a digital mixer gotta say got a little confused with it at first, but to be expected. It is a fantastic bit of kit.

Having had this mixer for quite a while now, would like to add that this is probably the best mixer I`ve ever used, cut down set up time massively and produces a crystal clear sound. Allen and Heath continually add software updates and the QU app is a god send. Superb!!!

I have been using the QU-16 for 3 months now. Simply amazing. It's all our old heavy rack gear in one box. Highly recommend

Excellent Digital Mixer

Very happy with the performance of this mixer. I bought it for live sound mixing (in pubs and clubs) to reduce the amount of outboard gear I needed to bring to a gig. It is very easy to use. I have also used it at the last two gigs for live channel recording, allowing me to post produce the events. Much fun indeed and considering the features, quite affordable!

Brilliant

This desk is quite simply magnificent. Really easy to set up and works straight out of the box. The instructions are simple to understand and not longwinded. I'm not the most technically minded person but found it to be really easy to use and understand. The sound is superb, the FX are amazing, the PEQ and GEQ are really easy to use and very effective. I still cannot believe how good this desk is. The build quality seems to be up to Allen & Heath's usual rugged and robust standards. Not yet found anything negative to say about it. Five stars all round.
