Extremely annoying
I don't know if it is just my particular unit, but this turntable has been a disappointment from the beginning. I bought the lid, knowing about the less than stellar reviews, and I can confirm it is nigh on impossible to mount. But the main problem is the arm. There is so much friction in the arm mount that it doesn't move freely with the pickup. This resistance means that the pickup tends to skip the groove to stay in the same place. I have tried to adjust it 200 times, but I have now given up on it. It looks nice, though.
Motor
The motor feels very weak. Spinnup is slow and when one holds the vinyl while motor is on, it looses speed even with few sheets of papper between slipmat and platter. After working with sl 1200 this feels like toy.
With decent stylus Sound ok.
Pour avoir utilisé de longues années LA MkII , ca tient bien la route !
Great value turntable for anyone.
Simple, no fuss turntable. An easy way to get into DJing or just records in general cheaply without it missing out on important stuff. Direct drive is good, not had any issues so far. Speed is good, easy way to make sure its at the right speed. I've only had it a day, but so far, this is a good turntable at a great price.
Great deck for the price
The deck is a solid direct drive deck. To be honest for the price you wont find a better deck. i have no faults. I changed the needle out myself as i prefer ortofon.
Better than expected
This is my first introduction to a turntable similar to the Technics. I honestly was not expecting much. But I cannot fault it. Its quick off the mark, its got a nice feel to the platter and you can easily mix with this. If youre looking for home use only turntables for mixing I would highly reccommend this! Top marks!

Not the best quality but great for the price.
A new tip is pretty much mandatory as soon as you buy it, but otherwise it's fantastic.
Wish the dust cover was still available.
Bang for the buck
I'm using it for recording and listening. It is an even cheaper alternative to Audiotechnics.
It's build solid, no finicky buttons or dials. You get what you paid for,and then some. Super easy setup.
Cons : No cover included, but you knew that from the product's description, did you?
The sound is pretty nice realtive to the price, i use it in my DJ setup and you have to change a needle for dj use, but i have to say it works out pretty good, great if you don't have the budget for sl1200's or something alike.
