I used this Shure headset mike for the first time this weekend with a 40 watt amp on two outdoor events. Despite a strong breeze the performance was excellent and the sound crystal clear at all times. I am really pleased I purchased this product and expect it will perform equally as well, if not better with my regular 100 watt PA on an indoor event later this week.

this is a gooooood set, only the mic is crap :D so mybe it would be good to buy it without the mic, and get another one :P the range is good sound is good, no complaints, mybe a litlle hiss from time to time, but its not disturbing, on/off and volume, all u need. good quality for the price, the reciver is really sturdy, the belt pack also like the akg pro but with less functions :D i will be buying one handheld, cuse i think its a good product and would recomend it to some amater and other sound system users battery life is also great, it just works and works, love it
Shure BLX14R/SM35 S8

Great and quite affordable. I'm using it for the past couple of years for live gigs and it never showed any faults in terms of signal loss or feedback. The only downside is the design of the SM35 which is not comfortable after an hour or so of wearing. Feedback is minimal or non existing. Sound is great but not comparable with the fuller sound of handheld microphones like sennheiser e935 or shure sm58 which are i'm using also. Recommended definetely!

I've had this for some time and didn't have any issues with it. The microphone and wireless pack feel solid. The receiver feels a little light, but inspecting the electronics, it all looks good quality. The wireless pack internal electronics are not conformaly coated though, so over time, residue from sweat can cause issues (friend had that issue and I had to fix his pack) which is a bit weird for a kit specially marketed for fitness trainer (where obviously you sweat when exercising ...).

I am a singing drummer who likes to move around while playing, so I wanted a quality headset mic to replace the boom stand that was always getting in the way. This product sounds great and gives me the extra space I wanted. And so easy to switch the mic to mute when other band members take vocal. Very happy.

Good headset for this price. It? good to have few of those just in case. It? just for talking and mic is sensitive. Also it should have an antenna on the back for easier stocking. Their frequensies match with AKG WMS 40 handheld microphone what made hard for me to find as much of them I wanted.

I bought it for experiment, but i found very useful microphone, i use it for radio show , on city square, with very good range (80 metres, with receiver in radio studio). Maybe is too sensitive for plosives, it's not DPA, but very good indeed. On other ocassion i use it for wireless transmit of signal to my delay line, which was 30 metres from main pa system. Again without any problems, . So you have 2 options to use with this mic. Good.

I bought this to have the freedom of working the stage whilst using the microphone. Living in the UK I found having to use an adaptor to fit our sockets not very sturdy and would prefer something with a UK plug. As I plug in to a computer I would have preferred a 3.5 mm jack too. Sound is good, maybe a bit heavy on the battery use, but since I have not tried any simular systems I have nothing to compare it to. However it works and it works well. Definitely value for money.

I have used radio mics professionally for over 40 years now. That doesn't mean I know everything there is to know, but I do have a lot of experience. For my own sound system I use rather expensive Sony radio mics, but this was purchased and an economic solution for a local church. Here are my comments: 1/ It's plastic. OK, so are the Sony, but their rack mount receivers aren't... I mean it feels very plastic and fragile. Look after it and it will be OK but don't use is as a rugged on-the-road system! 2/ It works well. Quality is reasonable and it's simple to set up. 3/ The mic itself is terrible, replace that as soon as you can! Basically, this is good value for money. It's not the cheapest nor is it even approaching the bigger professional systems I use in quality or price!
Sennheiser XSW 2-ME3 A-Band Headset

I've used this one for the oast 2 years or so. Pros: Very comfortable headpeace. The sound is clear and of good quality. Battery indicator on transmitter is a plus for me The signal is strong and doesn't stop/break Cons: When the transmitter is turned of while PA isn't muted or turned off it, produces a very harsh and loud hiss/noise (maybe a factory fault) When the mic has a bit more gain it feeds back a lot and is difficult to EQ or get rid of the feedback...
