Awesome headset
Since the headset shares the model of receiver with hand-mic, I will share my thoughts on headset specific things here - please look for ANT UNO G8 HDM review as well.
Pros:
1. Good sound - very good and not bass-less, as a typical condenser mic. Great for speech and good for singing as well.
2. Sturdy construction, comfortable, and easy to use.
3. Good transmitter holder clip.
Cons (or suggestions)
1. If you clip it low on the back, the transmission range will be shorter (depending on the receiver placement), but still, it will be enough for a normal venue - test some placements of receivers and you will get used to what works best. 1800 Mhz do not travel around objects that well. Still, I had no interference and dropouts.
2. Test out gain and output level on the receiver before real use - you will understand how the mic works and save yourself some noise.
3. There is no gain selector, but 3 position switch, that is a bit too simple. It still works though, but some mics output lower signal, than the bundled headmic.
So, all in all, this is a great buy and works perfectly. The price is perfect.
