I'm not much of a classic player and bought these for an average quality instrument.

The stings went on with no problem and have no problem staying in tune. They play well.

The tone is good and they definitely improved the sound of what was already quite a nice sounding guitar.

Aquila Concerto

I settled on these as replacement strings, having read the positive reviews. They feel great under the fingers and have a great tone and resonance. I was surprised at the volume they produced from my concert uke.

They come colour coded with instructions which really helped on my first time restringing. They hold tune very well even when played more vigorously. I highly recommend these strings.

A must buy

Bought these to add to a cheap ukulele I've got, and they've made the sound quality and playability really good

The only Ukulele String

Im my opinion the best ukulele strings out there. They are they only ones I ever use on my concert Uke. They are much superior to most other ukulele strings, tone wise and in holding there tuning.

I ordered the Aquila Corde Concerto Regular Nylgut WH strings for my Kala Makala Dolphin CAR ukulele as I hear recommendations about changing the strings that came with the ukulele to Aquila Nylcut strings. I was too lazy to change the stringsat first, but when I did, the change in the tone was huge. The Aquila Nylgut strings sound very bright and keep well to tune.

Receiving the strings was a bit confusing though, as they weren't placed very secrely to the shipment and most of the strings in their individual clear plastic pouches had gotten out of the Aquila paper package into the huge box containing the ukulele and ukulele beginner's book I ordered at the same time, and the string pouches had been confusingly color coded only on the outside, leaving me to wonder which strings were the strings that escaped their color coded packaging. The fact that my package had two string packages with the same color and three with other colors was confusing as well. In the end I got the right strings changed but they could've definitely been packed more securely.

Great replacement strings. Brighten the sounds from low end ukes.

These seem to be the best uke strings around. We have 3 ukes in the house, and I have these on all of them.
