Great strings

Fitted these to an entry level ukulele along with new tuning pegs.

No easier to fit than other strings of this kind.

They feel great under fingers, sound great, bright but not sharp, warm and mellow but not in any way dull.

They look great and really stand out on a darker wood fingerboard.

Cannot fault them. I'm trying to wear out the strings on my classical guitar so i can fit some to that as well!

The best ukulele strings ever. It is known. The C string takes some time to get at it's full length / stay tuned so play a lot.

made my ukelele sound good

I bought these strings to put on a ukelele which came with strings that didn't sound tonally good.I found that these strings give a better tone to the instrument than those originally with the ukelele.

Great sound and obvious improvement.

Used as a replacement for strings on a Harley Benton cheapest uke UK-11DW and it improved the sound and playability considerably. Recommended!

Nice strings

You got to love the sound of these strings when you after loud and clear. If you are looking for less volume and warmth you might be better of with the Worth strings. These ones are clear and loud and keep their tune and tone well.

I bought those Aquila string for an old solid mahogany concert ukulele in which I had a set of Ortega hand crafted strings but in every way I think Aquila's sound is warmer! Next time I will try the red set !

almost perfect

I ordered these strings just after reading the feedback comments. Thought "why not?". Changed the factory strings on my soprano ukulele after 2 weeks of use just to try them. Comments were correct! If you plan to change your ukulele, first change strings with these. Great choice.

Excellent sound

These are the only strings I'll buy for my Soprano uke. I originally learned to play with the stock strings that came with my first uke, and it was a great morale booster when I realised how much better everything sounded once I switched to Aquila strings.

money well spent

If you have bought a cheap ukulele like I did, make yourself a favour and change the strings to these. It makes a huge difference in sound.

And they stay in tune almost perfectly in cmparison with the factory ones.

Totally recommended.

Very Good Quality

At first I was playing my Ukulele with factore strings and I thought I have made I bad choice choosing that uke. Then I changed the strings for the Aquila ones and OMG, its just perfect (sound and quality).

I would strongly recoment it for players at all levels.

I have used my uke with these strings, several times daily since I got it five days ago. It sounds fine and seems to be able to take a bit of even my newbie handling. And cheap as well. Overall great strings.

Best ukulele strings you can buy

These are fantastic!

I have found with ukulele strings that a lot of brands make strings that feel quite feeble. Then I discovered Aquila. I now use them on every one of my ukuleles. They sound fantastic, feel good to play and are quite reasonably priced. What more can you ask for?!

Great strings

I've replaced original strings on Harley Benton UK-12 with this ones and you can not believe that Instrument for 16 ¤ started to sound ok ;-)

I have this strings on Kala KA-CE too and there they show all of its quality.

Outstanding strings

I got my cheapo good looking LP style ukelele with default value strings and when I first played it I was kinda disappointed, specially with the intonation and the fact they were super dull and the tones died fast.

So, I changed the strings to these and here are my findings:

- They are VERY elastique, and ring in an excellent way. They take a lot of re tunning until they finally settle.

- They won't lose pitch anymore after they're settle.

- Somehow they wont change pitch as much when you push the string between the frets (specially on the lowest notes) I assume it has to do with the elasticity. This helps a lot keeping the intonation at bay therefore having clean chords.

- They sound brigther than the ones installed on the uke before. The sound also lasts longer (not a LOT, but definitely longer)

- They have a rubbery feeling on the fingers when you play, that helps a LOT with the sound I believe.

- Now my ukelele sounds much better overall.

Aquila Corde Regular Soprano

I use these strings on low priced ukuleles because they make such a big difference to the sound quality. The sound is full-bodied and clear and they are also very easy on the fingers. They make the playability of even a cheap ukulele a lot better.

These are supposed to be one of the best strings on the market ... and I can't disagree with that.

Great strings, well recommended.

Bought these strings because I'd read on various uke sites that they can really improve the sound of your uke. They do! Have recommended to friends who had cheap strings on a new uke, and they were impressed with the results. I haven't needed to use my strings yet as my uke came with Aquillas already on it, so these are spares.
