A solid, reliable good sounding DI.

Very affordable unit that doesn’t compromise on sound quality. Whether it’s big rock shows or quiet acoustic gigs, these Art DI’s haven’t missed a step. I’d rather use these than any other DI box given their consistent reliability. The feature set is good too with pads, ground isolation and various other things you’d expect to find on a DI. 48V Phantom power works a treat so I haven’t used the 9V battery compartment but it’s good to know it’s there.

Nice active DI

Really good DI for the price. Has every feature needed in a recording situation. And the best for me is that it has two possibilities of powering the device which is 9 volt battery or 48 volt phantom power from preamp.

Solid little box. The 9V battery is a plus.

Excellent Unit

These are the best DI boxes at this price point.

I use these in a church scenario, so having a large number of phantom powered DI boxes is a must. I have used ART products for years and I rate them very highly.

Pros

Hardy Unit, never fails, Switches work well, very useful and reliable connections. Excellent value for money.

Cons

Occasionally amateur musicians don't notice if the switches are pressed or not, but this is less a fault of the unit and more a lack of knowledge and experience or thoughtfulness on the part of the user.

Decent DI Box

Used for live sound, never had a problem with them.

Only thing to be careful with is that the buttons are easily engaged unintentionally which can be a nuisance and waste precious time investigating.

Love this DI Box

Looks neat. Well made. feels good quality.

Excellent live product for the price

Used on a stage/live environment, it's difficult to fault these. They are clearly labelled, and robustly constructed; they will take a fair few kicks and bumps. Input and output XLRs lock nicely.

Additions of a phase toggle and a high-pass filter are nice touches, particularly for the price; as is each DI coming with a 9v PP3 in the box! I run my DIs from phantom power so the batteries have gone straight in the 'spare-for-the-next-guitarist-with-a-problem' box, which is always handy.

The sound is certainly uncoloured enough not to be noticeable in a live mix.

Would definitely buy again at this price.
