Nice pedal!!

Balanced and good pedal in my opinion, it delivers and serves its purpose

Good value noise gate

I bought this pedal because it was cheap and because I had to solve some hiss issues from my setup.

It obviously worked and it didn't have many problems, even though the sensitivity potentiometer didn't seem to have much of an effect, at least with my setup.

However, if you need to mute the signal from your guitar while you're not playing, it will work. I wouldn't buy it again though, because my issues weren't due to the signal from my instrument. So, just pay attention to what is the real source of your problems before you buy this pedal

No tone left..

It is of course a noise gate so it will cut off frequencies. Though the toneloss of this pedal is insane. You will get rid of your noise, but you will also lose all the tone of your guitar. My advice is to rather use a good powersuply for your pedals. This noise gate is not any good...

Good switch...

I thought this would pedal could reduce feedback with vocal microphones - it doesn't! But it reduces tons of noise (the "bzzz") from pedals etc. Quite expensive pedal only for that purpose.

Pay attention: Noise gate, not a noise suppressor!!

It is indeed a noise gate and it mutes your basic static noise, but unfortunately it does not recognise a fading low level signal from your static noise so it will start to engage/disengage when it's around the preset threshold resulting in signal/no signal at intermittent intervals, :-(

It is however a sturdy box with sturdy controls.

Artec Noise Gate

I bought this as it seemed the best compromise features-quality-price. It is indeed a good construction, easy to handle, but I cannot manage to get it doing what is supposed to do. Either it does not not suppress the noise, or it does it in a very digital way, cutting the sustain of the guitar! I still believe it is me who is not able to find the right setting, however this is a word of caution to everyone
