Arturia KeyLab 88 MkII Black Edition 2-stars Reviews

Poor quality control unfortunately

Lovely looking keyboard, well specced. Feel of most keys good. "Looks" well made. I got the wooden legs which look great too and easy to put together.

HOWEVER: one of the keys (a B) clicks like crazy, and a number of the other keys have a different "feel" with extra friction or noise. It's just not consistent. From the keys that are working properly, I think the feel is good. The sliders too, some are rather gritty and stiff and some are smoother. Whole thing just gives impression of shoddiness. When I compare to my 15 year old Yamaha which cost similar money (when adjusted for inflation), and never had the slightest key problem, this is disappointing. Why are companies happy to ship and have returned so many items!? Terrible for environment, and big waste of my time unpacking and repacking the thing. Returning.
