Audient iD44 MKII Reviews
Audient delivers
Been waiting for the MKII for a while and i deliveres what i expected, maybe the software layout can be a little smarter in what i want to view. But the sound are exeptional for this price
Outstanding
Amazing quality of recording, multi features. Worth it
Great sound, lots of options
the sound is great!
Tried shure sm7b and you need and extra preamp like triton that I use but the sound is very good. But the Neumann tlm 102 with this preamps, omg, works like a dream. love this sound
Pops, clicks, dropouts!
Just BAD
Disclaimer: Using Acer Swift 3 under windows 10.
Other interfaces, such as good old Focusrite Scarlett worked OK on my machine but I wanted to upgrade to something that would have less latency and would be more stable.
The features of this device are great but by god the drivers for windows are just absolutely horrible. 10mb software driver installer, should tell you something. Constant pops, cracklings sounds, regardless of the buffer size. Likes to switch to 96 kHz on a whim. Doesn't like when you switch the buffer size. Step level on the main volume knob! yes! Just like on a cheap car radio!
Despite being made of metal, feels a little flimsy. I like that it has a switch and comes with two cables, but the usibility of this device is just not on the level that's been marketed. Or maybe it's just my computer, but again, other interfaces work much better.
Steinberg UR2RT was much better too.
Solid unit
So far so good. Great ad/da, very flexible monitoring and routing..
Main knob feels a bit loose, i hope my unit ain't defective..
256 samples= 7ms latency at 44khz 24bit
Great.
