Great product

I purchased these headphones for my wife, since I already own the ATM-50X (which I love).

My wife loves them, they're light, perfect ear fit, and most important that's a lot of headphones for the money, seriously great value for the money.

They're perfect as a gift, even for non-musicians.

I definitely recommend them

The very thing to start with

The best you can choose for an inexpensive music studio in your home.

Unbeatable for the price

Used for DJ setup until I scrapped the money to get 50x.

For the cheap price these, I doubt there are better-sounding headphones on the market.

Only con I see is long bale that is not detachable so forget going outside with these :)

Still perfect for light home, dj or studio use if you don`t mind long cable.

Great value for money

Bought this unit for my home studio setup. Didn't want to spend a lot, because I usually use my speakers, and only need headphones for vocal tracking, and occasional online calls.

The price/performance is hardly beatable. M20X's are cheap and of reasonable quality. No issues with the physical build, and the frequency response is comparable with much more expensive sets.

Also, I use SoundID Reference by Sonarworks to calibrate the sound, so I have no issues with the sound whatsoever.

The plastic is sturdy. This isn't the first pair of M20X's that I've used, and they have not broken while I'm using them.

The noise isolation isn't amazing, and helps more with isolating the sound from inside the headphones bleeding into the mics than the other way around. However, I don't particularly need this unit for high noise isolation.

The headphones are comfy enough for sessions, although they feel a bit stiff on my head. Hopefully I'll break them in.

In conclusion - one of the best options within this price range.

Great headphones

Very good structured headphones!

Clear sound with a bit lack of bass.

Very nice for home studio recordings and editing

(keeping in mind the lack o bass)

Over all great headphones with a very good price!

This headphone is very good for the price. I using it for home recording guitars, mixing with DAW's, etc.

I wanted to buy the ATH-M50, but for my purposes this is very good also... Perfect sounding, very good isolation from the outer noises, comfortable to wear long time. And the price is much-much lower.

I'am very happy with it, and recommend it!

super quality to price ratio

the best one I could find for this price range, I've tried several. they are comfi, and have a fairly neutral sound, so great quality for this low price range.

One of the best in that price range

Product has a great value within that price range. I use it for recording and mastering and it has a very good build quality, sound and outside noise isolation. Is worth to mention that the item arrived in a very reasonable time and in perfect condition. Would definitely recommend.

Great closedback headphone

These were brought to use as recording headphone for vocals etc.

using the sonarworks software they sound really good and for the price just crazy!

I use the DT1990 pro as my mains and these for recording. Very happy with them.

A good product for every day use

I have 2 of them. Neutral sounding. Nice feel and touch. A well made thick wire, it's difficult to damage it. Changeable ear pads prolong the usage.

Comfy sound in my ears!

Some of the best headphones on the market! It suits on my daily life, for laptop or phone use. I also use it in my DJ works, and plays just fine on the amount of bass and still, clear sound always! In the studio, for rehearsals with my band, makes a nit sound in my ears and with few noise from the room.

Used for electric drums

I have bought these to pair with the Yamaha DTX452k and I can fairly say that they sound more than good. Music playing is also great.

They are quite comfy, but as the material around the year is made of leather it becomes quite sweaty in the summer days.

Outside noise isolation is very good.

impressed

i have owned the m40x and m50 for years and bought this as a spare, but wow! it sounds much flatter and a lot less artificially "hyped" than its more expensive brethren. a little harsh around the high mids extending to the low treble range (slightly harsh S's), but that's about it. it sounds more neutral overall and a lot better for mixing, in my opinion. i guess its less exciting sound and cheaper make is a little off putting for most people, but it sounds great to me. i can listen for hours on end without fatigue. quite surprised and impressed. tight bass (super deep with sonarworks!), great sound isolation and comfortable to wear (uncomfortable at first but it stretched to accommodate my big head). i definitely recommend these puppies!

Really good for the price!

So, these are maybe the best studio monitors you can get for this price. Period. They do what they are meant to do perfectly fine. Nevertheless don't expect to be blown away by an incredible tangible sound, you get what you pay for. They have a really flat frequency response and work great for tracking and can even be used for mixing. You wouldn't go wrong with these, but consider checking the superior models. The ATH M50 X, for example, are incredible, but there is a price to pay. If you are on a budget, go for it, you won't regret it.

Incredibly good for the price

For the price they are great, and they compete to higher price headphones.

Pros: they cancel all sound outside, I can take them for hours without problems on my head and ears.

Cons: none so far.

Great headphones for tracking

Bought these because I needed a pair of headphones for tracking purposes because my studio doesn't have a separate control room. They are awesome! They really cancel out the noise and also don't bleed and ruin your recordings. They are way more comfortable than some similarly build headphones that I have. I could spent hours without feeling uncomfortable. Totally worth it!
