Hello, I bought Moek 1020 Flauto 1 Plus in order to learn playing recorders. It fulfills this purpose pretty well. Response The response of this recorder is better than with many more expensive ones. I had an easy time finding the right amount of pressure to play this instrument. Features The recorder comes with a bag which is pretty usefull. Sound Some of you might think that this is the big weakness of this instrument because of the plastic mouthpiece. That's not the case. Sure there are recorders with wooden mouthpieces that sound better but it's not as big of a difference as you might think. Quality The wood looks high quality and the mouthpiece is not made out of cheap plastic. All in all this instrument is really high quality as you would expect when buying a Moeck recorder.

After receiving the Gewa Natura recorder I immediately started to compare it with the other recorders I own. Although most of my flutes are made of wood this was the first wooden recorder I had purchased and I must say the tone it much more warmer than that of similar plastic recorders on the market. The feel is also warmer to the touch as plastic can be quite cold. I would very much recommend people to go for the wooden option.

As a recorder neophyte I can surely say that the specific recorder has a very mellow and sweet tone. My roommates don't complain about disturbing noises as they did with my previous baroque recorder of the same money value. Almost impossible to make a rough sound with this instrument. It is not a loud recorder, but it's perfect for a small room or a quiet place. Despite the german fingering, I could't notice(as a novice) any sound discordance. Very good quality of plastic. Con:The nice wood immitation does not cover the whole body of the instrument, some parts are bare white instead.

I've learnt to play recorder as a child about twenty years ago. My parents bought a few cheap and more expensive wooden beginner flutes. None of them were able to keep up with this plastic recorder and all of them were more expensive. The sound of this recorder surely can't compete with one of the more expensive wooden recorders. But it beats every single wooden beginner recorder, which I have gotten my hands on. The color was the thing, which my husband liked to much, that he had bought this recorder. It's not only fun for kids. Quality: The quality is good. Every piece fits together and nothing is to loose or to tight. No sharp edges or other material failures. The recorder is solid and easy cleanable if you want. There are no pieces, which could soak up water and no glue or cork,...

I bought 10 of these to give to someone who was going to volunteer in primary schools in Ghana and the teachers really wanted to offer musical education. Yamaha is a top brand I know well, and even their most affordable instruments are well made and in tune. Great value for money! Downside: a cleaning stick/cleaning rod is not included, and you do need one to dry out the recorder after use. Joint grease/ recorder cream is not included either

I have been teaching music to 5-7 year-old children for over 20 years. Recently I have noticed more and more problems with manual dexterity and playing a simple recorder became a nightmare for my students. The Nuvo keyed recorder solved the problem and the children were able to play easily from their first lessons. Thank you!!!!

The sound is ok (well, a lot better than any plastic dog-torturing pipe), but the workmanship isn't too good. The finishing on the inside was terrible and the joints were loose. After replacing the joint corks the instrument at least stays together...
