Pretty useful tool

If you re worried about the mono compatibility of your mixes and the clarity of your midrange ,this speaker is the way to go

For what it's worth, the Avantones were very carefully designed, not just thrown together, and seem to elicit very positive reviews in general. I figured out for myself that a mono speaker is actually a pretty affordable option. I seem to prefer the lack of comb filtering and out of phase response you get with a pair of speakers moving around a room. The avantone in mono just seems to sound good no matter where I'm standing in the room. I like the mono compatibility checking property of it as well. The sound quality is very good, even though it's all mids no deep bass or high highs, but, that's the purpose of a speaker like this.
