Great interface overall

I was initially surprised by the size of the interface as it is HUGE. Looks great in a studio and the build quality is fantastic, except for the headphone dials which seem a little plasticy and wobbly. The sound quality is great and for the amount of features you have it is a steal. One downside however is that the control app is a bit complicated and the drivers are not easy to find. It is not plug-and-play, so it is not super convenient if you have a studio where a lot of new people come every week who all need to download the control app. Another little downside is that I wish they would add a compressor & tuner to the DSP, as I use this often when tracking vocals. BUT if it's just you and a few regulars using it, I think you will be very happy with the purchase. For reference, I have had many different audio interfaces in the past, such as; UAD Apollo, Audient ID4, Focusrite scarlet(s), and SSL2 - so far MBOX is my favourite next to the Apollo. If you need an easy plug-and-play solution, however, the SSL may be a better option. Overall I am pleased and it is a nice addition to my commercial studio.

everything you need in a small form factor

I wanted adat in and out to keep my signal chain fully digital. The mixer app has everything I needed to route my audio. I am extremely happy with its versatility.
