well working device

the sound of my analog sidechain to which all my effects run through still was too poor in quality and stereo. I bought high quality cables. connected di boxes between devices which easily tend to create noise or hum and distorted sound but I still needed something to do a last summing.

and thanks to bbe I found this sonic maximizer which isnt very expensive because I already spent a lot of money for my hs and I didnt want to go on with that. I was about to finish my studio and this device gave me the missing contour for my sidechain.

all said here and all works well. sure I get an even better sound when I purchase a model more expensive but I didnt need that. my effects do have their limitations and so this unit matches my needs.

it would be really good except the noise

It is simple and good. Improves bit time a final mix live, without driving the amp to clipping. What I definitely hate about it, that it has a midrange rumble which is clearly audible in "silent" environment, like in my home studio. I don't know if it is a singular unit fault or a design flow, but if decided to buy this unit, definitely hook it up and listen to the noise. Obviously on a motorcycle fest gig you don't give a shit and neither do the bikers.

Sonice Maximizer 428i

I wanted to get one of these Bad boys after seeing a DJ on youtube explain how they work. This is so easy to use and set up you literally just run your sound through it with patch cables ( jack leads) but the sound you get once it is running is so good you wont believe your ears. What it does is basically send the bass and tops signal out at the same time and harmonizes them so you get clear deep bass and clear high tops ( I know those are not scientific terms) I use this as part of my set so I have sound from my mixer into the sonic maximizer, then into the crossover and then the amp! I have used mine ever since I got it and it will now be in my rack forever and ever and ever etc. Fantastic piece of kit and you will be amazed how nice your bass and tops sound with this running through your system you will never go back to just putting it through your amplifier. Highly, highly recommended piece of kit!
