Behringer B115D Reviews
Bit noisy but fit for purpose
Would work well with a subwoofer.
A great all round speaker with a punch.
Able to handle large and small venues and although quite heavy the handles are well designed and make it easy to carry.
Heavy, solid and great headroom
I use it for vocals in a 3 piece band. Nice headroom and It's loud. It is also heavy because of the 15" speaker. Nice finish. Works great for me.
Really nice sound
Really nice sound, I only use it at home for the moment. Can wait for the first chance to take it outdoor
I have two of these Behringer B115D for more than one year now. I've been using them for rehearsals and live sound as a small P.A. I have to say that I am very pleased! They are perfect for the price range.
Pros: They are very versatile. The independent control for each of the two jack or xlr in are just great. They have enough power for a small outside gig or for most of the interior spaces.
Cons: the 15 inch speaker e very powerfull but it might enhance a little bit the basses so keep that in mind. Most of the time, I end up cutting the bass on the parametric EQ that the B115D includes.
Over all, I must say that this is really a great bargain for the money they cost and the features it includes.
Robust. Do the job.
I bring them everywhere, and it works. Very solid. And powerful enough. I just adda subwoofer. And it becomes very good.
Lovely !
I paid around £177 for one speaker. Please remember 1000w is the peak, Behringer never release their RMS watt values, however very powerful and great product ! Good start up speakers, XLR and Jack Input, no RCA I think due to heavy power but can use an adaptor. My GUESS is the RMS is around 750W. Crisp clear quality with guests around 200. Behringer 1500XP subwoofer is good match with this. Good internal crossover feature with this subwoofer. Just try avoiding the speaker hitting the clip lights if you want this speaker to last long time!
The item is very good.
The item is very good and the service is very professional.
A very loud speaker with power but no quality sound
Good for djs bad for musicians
Good value for money
Speaker arrived in a solid carton box, well packed. Weight of the speaker is cca 20 kg, box has no handles therefor not easy to transport from packing station, should be taken into consideration when deciding about the delivery address. I use speakers with Behringer stagebox for gigs in restaurants. Sound clarity is great, powerful base sound. I purchased also the recommended stand set (Millenium BS-2211B MKII Set), they are big and stable (because the speaker is also quite heavy). Am very satisfied for the money invested.
Great sound, poor reliability
I purchased two of these over a year ago. One is perfectly fine, sounds great, gets a bit hot, but overall pretty good. The other, however, I have had to return 3 times as a result of the speaker dying and not receiving input. Possibly as a result of overheating.
Hong Kong Rubbish
True story of get what you pay for.Blown after not being pushed at all and even fully working can be pushed nowhere near as loud as my RCF speakers.If you are serious about getting a good quality pa system.Spend the extra money on a higher end system. You wont regret it.
Good active speakers at killer price
Have been using pair of these speakers for few years now, and can't say anything bad about them. I use them as main speakers for my band with and without sub-woofer (depending on size of the venue and music style played). Bass is quite decent even without sub. They are loud, they have excellent sound quality (It's a bi-amped speaker) and price is superb.
Pros:
* powerful & loud
* lightweight
* excellent sound quality and sound clarity
* good build quality
* ergonomic handle design
* versatile, can be used as front speakers or monitors, or direct mic to speaker
Cons: none
Bottom line: As with many Behringer products, this is good one with very affordable price. Highly recommend!
Sound OK but more like 200w
These are reasonably well made speakers with reasonably quality audio reproduction. They are not even close to the 1000w claimed, which would make them near 500w rms. They clip way too early and power wise I would put them at 200w rms, 400 peak! However, they are still quite usable speakers, just don?t expect to do a rock concert with them, or too large a crowd!
Awesome Product!
Very lightweight and very low price.
Very easy to use.
Great speaker for the price range
Awesome sounding speaker once you don't need to push the bass strongly, light enough, great handles and a high build quality makes this a great speaker for the cost.
-Party DJ
superb in every way
thanks for a brill product
Loud!
serious sound...very loud. Great speaker. Only comes with a power cable..Does not come with any leads to plug into mixer etc.
Bargain!
For the price, you can't go wrong. I have used these for small school productions, political debates, parties and live gigs, and I gotta say I really like them. Nice and light, easy to carry and to mount. Sound bright and clear, but with a nice kick in the low end when needed. They're not for big shows, don't over drive them and they'll be fine!
Totally in shock
So where to start..
Ok They Look Good when i pulled them out of the box when they arrived i was a bit worried that they didn't have a load of depth compared to My Mackie Thumps. But well wow the sound from these is awesome trust me of you want a great sounding speaker with plenty of punch then these should be your first choice.
