Best buy quality/price

Before buying, I was skeptic about performance of this loudspeaker. The thing that attracted me to buy it was the low price and at the same time manufacturer's declared performances. After first listening I was surprised by the sound quality and range that this relatively light and small Behringer box provides.

Certainly is the best can be bought for this amount of monay. I am very happy to have it in my large living room.

Doing the job nicely

Great little active speaker. I bought for playing music at drum lessons that I give. It's powerfull enough but also very portable and packs up nicely in a pedal bag. Basic features but I wasn't looking for anything to high tec.

Sturdy little speakers!

Bought them mainly for going to small gigs in cafes and pubs. Works perfect and sound is fine for small venues up to 40-50 people.

I also bought this for carrying 2 of them around -

This carrier bag can also fit in cables and other smaller equpiment. Its very handy to carry them all in one package.

Little but loud!

Even if it is a little tiny speaker, it roars like a lion! It is perfect for little parties or for vocals in small rooms. A very good article.

Perfect value for euro

CONS 1) A bit muddy at about highlow or lowmid(assuming 150~500Hz) frequency. 2) A bit thin at lowhigh(assuming 3000~6000). 3) Easy to slip handle. 4) For demanding audition a grafic equalizer is neaded.

PROS 1) Better build quality than it looks at photos. 2) Very compact and beautiful looking. 3) Very loud(seems seemes more than 113spl manufacturer claims). 4) Combined with B1200D-PRO SUB(i own) it a beautiful compact combo with huge sound.

For conclusion, i would DEFINITELY suggest this speaker for its great value per euro ratio!!!

TIP: When combined with B1200D-PRO SUB, reduce 1+1/2 line from 0 of bass level in B208D equalizer and sound will be smoother, with less mud.

Great little speaker.

These are great little speakers, very powerful, great sound soft highs not harsh, good bass, sound amazing with acoustics/ voice, but for dance music you will need a sub, like the behringer B1200d to produce the low end, combined with the sub it sounds fantastic, its the only time people have come up to me and said that sounds good!

Also combined you have a three way, 900 watt system for under £500! no one else can match that.

Amazing - Behringer B208D BK

The title says it all. The Behringer B208D BK speakers are amazing, I purchased a pair of these to use as monitors, they are incredibly compact, ideal for small venues as floor monitors.

When I hooked them up to the Behringer Xenyx X2222 USB mixing desk and my laptop just to play some music out of them to see how they faired I was blown away by the power and range from such compact speakers.

So much so I immediately plugged in a mic and sang along to the track, again the clarity and punch from the vocals and music through these speakers was worthy of much more expensive models.

I bought these as monitors but they are so good if ever I have to PA any after dinner speakers these would cover quite a wide range of venues for that type of event.

Behringer B208D BK

was looking mahno and powerful sound for acoustic performances of the group. I play guitar and I'm sensitive to sound quality.

Considering the price I was not sure for the high sound quality about this speaker.

I want the amall and strong active speaker. Its difficult to find the active a speaker with power 250W in 8´cone.

I tested the speaker on the guitar Gibson songwriter and vocal. I'm surprised by the quality of the sound given the low price. The speaker is also very loud for the size.

It covers my needs for the concert playing with akustic group.

Behringer 208D

I bought this Speaker 3 years ago. It still works like new. I use it 12 hours a week, every week. I do look after it, and the other Behringer Speakers I use. Mainly because I want them to Last. and because when I bought it, I heard they were fragile. I keep it in its original packing (when I am not using it), which is now held together with packing tape. I use it mostly as a monitor speaker now. or as a main speaker at small gigs. No distortion, lovely Bass, at any volume. I leave it on the floor as a monitor, or on a stand as a main speaker. it connects up to my other Behringer's easily, People have sat on it, kicked it, fallen over it, knocked it over and it still works. I have never had to use it at more than half volume. and its still sounds great. I can use it as a main speaker in halls with 100 people or less, or as an extra speaker at bigger events. any way costs works out at roughly 18 pence (UK) a day .. so far. Very good quality and value for money. I have used various other makes of speaker in the past. this ranks easily with the best.

great quality speaker

Bought these speakers for 3 main purposes, compact, portable and clarity of sound. This product delivers very well on all three of these points. The quality of sound was important and these speakers pack a great punch. The low end is good and the total audible output is far louder than I had expected. Being light and transportable was important and these speakers definately fit that necessity.

Where is the handle???

It get's a "poor" on features because it does not feature a handle!!!

How I'm I supposed to carry it? I bought this model because it's light and small, but I have to use both hands to carry it!? Defeats the purpose...
