Behringer BH 470 Reviews
Behring we BH 470
If you’re looking for headphones for tracking these are great for instruments where you don’t need as much clarity but for Vocals or mixing I would spend a little more
You get what you pay for!
Although the Behringer quality has increased significantly over the years, the sound of these cans is not up to the mark. For 20 bucks I'm not complaining but I would dare not mix on these. They are pretty great for tracking, which is what I use them for. In this way, they can save you a lot of money. They are quite comfortable for long tracking sessions.
Really useful Headphone
Another great item from Behringer. Definitely value for money. Not really high quality but if you are an enthusiast who is a little bit short on the budget, I believe this one is a great option.
Extremely comfortable, ears don't get too hot. The sound quality is what you would expect with headphones this cheap. Decent, somewhat lacking in lows. Don't expect a pair of "studio monitoring" headphones for this price, because theese aren't, but are good enough for quiet guitar/bass practice which is what I got them for.
Build quality is great and they absolutely don't feel cheap.
Feel surprisingly durable
Sound - doesn't bother me at any style I play - from hard, through electro, to classical etc. I am not a musician.
Comfort - very comfortable, but for me are too tight (and I don't really have a big head). You can notice in the description, that they are heavy, but you dont feel that, since they fit quite comfortably on your head.
Quality - it's a very low cost headset, that actually feels quite durable. As I meantioned above, they are a bit heavy, which, I'd quess, comes with the stronger materials? The cable feels strong too and it is coiled, which is important for a forgetful monster like me. Also they dont look like a big satelite on your head, despite that they are over-ears. And have a nice color, that actually looks quite shitty in real life : ) But I'd still prefer it to black.
Bottom line - great bargain for a simple user.
Perfect product for price
I could wear this headphone for hours. It fits perfect and is light. The shells cover your ears completely so there is little pressure on your ear itself. Sound is OK, but a overrepresentation of the lower frequencies, which makes it out of balance. It comes with a plug adapter making it suitable for you 3.5mm plugs as well as 6mm which is convenient. The material feels a little cheap but it is well produced and neatly finished. Overall a really acceptable headphone but if you're accent is on sound quality it may not be for you
It's too good to be true.
These headphones do not decorate the sound, but give it out as it is, they are perfect for mixing and monitoring. I did not expect such quality for this money. Headphones give the maximum that a single-way system is capable of. They perfectly play out low frequencies, give strong bass, but at the same time give excellent results at high frequencies, you can hear the slightest overtones that can be caught by the human's ears.
Yes, the headphones are not metal, they have very soft vinyl, but they sound at least $ 500. But you need a MINIMUM 24-bit audio interface (I have 32) otherwise the headphones will not reach their potential.
Very nice for the price
I got these mainly for video editing on my laptop. The sound is fairly good but these headphones are amazingly comfortable to wear.
I have a big head and have had problems with some other headphones. There isn't such a case with these - I just put them on and even after several hours I feel fine and don't have any discomfort.
Probably they are not very reliable for music mixing, but they are ideal for my workflow. I didn't expect I would like them that much considering the price.
Incredible value for money
I'm using these primarily for video editing, and they're very comfortable even for 5-hour sessions. Bass is distinct, treble is crisp, and they fold nicely into a smaller form when I'm done with them.
Unbelievable value for money!
Superb Value
Great phones at a great price.
Very good headphone!
I use it mainly with my KORG monologue and it sounds amazing with it.
It is very much comfortable and the solid build quality is clearly noticeable.
Great sound maybe better than my M50x
A great sound quality overall ,not so loud like my M50x!
Build quality is plastic and only time will tell, but for the money you cannot by a better headphones !
Good sound and very comfortable!
Good for the price
excellent produce and sound for the price. Very comfortable to wear.
Only drawback is the lead; it is a coiled lead which doesn't work that well with a guitar and amp.
I could not believe the price on these. Got 3 for my studio for tracking. Musicians were super happy. Fun to listen to, I would not mix on those, just perhaps check the bass of a mix
Does what it should
These are great
however sounds a bit cheap to me,but they are great for any purposes.
they are comfortable.
not really flat for mixing IMO
OK for tracking
I bought couple of these just for tracking in my small studio.
Sound is muddy and lacks clarity. But for the price and for the purpose they are acceptable. Just don't buy them for mixing. Comfort is actually good, and even a bit longer recording sessions might be painless with those.
pros - price and comfort
cons - poor/muddy sound, leaning on the bass side
So if you need many headphones for all band members without breaking the bank, those might suite well. Soundwise you might wanna look at a bit more expensive side.
Wow
Great only £20 you'll have to pay 100s to get anything better.
You get what you pay for
It's a bit unfair, but I compared them with the M50x. They have low mids and lows a bit too much, but they're ok.
