Behringer BH 470 Reviews
Great value
For 25 bucks, you gotta be happy! I have a pair of Sony top-end headphones, bluetooth, and they are great, but they are 10x the price.
My amp isn't bluetooth so i use these Behringer ones and they are very good and very comfortable. Cord is sufficient but obviously no duck walking allowed..
Woderful in compare with the price
Everything was fine when I got it today. But a small scratch and spot on the leather. which was fine for me
Good price / quality
I would not recommend for studio monitoring, but they are ok to home use. a bit too bassy for my liking, and the sound is slightly muddy, but cannot really complain for the money they cost.
Wanted a cheap headphone for general use
I wanted a very cheap headphone for general use (Youtube, listening to podcasts, occasionally music etc) to replace my more expensive headgear (thus extend their lifespan). I did not have high expectations, considering that it costs only 22 €, but unfortunately this couldn't match my low expectations. The sound quality is awful and was very unbalanced out-of-the box (the right can was much louder than the left), so unfortunately I had to return it.
One positive thing I'd like to mention though, is the comfort. The earpads and headband are very comfortable, didn't push my hard. The plastic is the cheapest one could find but at least the plates (those that have the "Behringer" branding on them) are made of metal (Aluminium).
To conclude, this wasn't a pleasant experience for me but I am sure that some out there will find the audio quality sufficient. If you have a very low budget it is worth trying out, otherwise go with a bit more expensive one.
i would say these headphones are very good for studio and i use them for guitar pedal effects
once modified, very satisfied
Well straight out of the box, these aren't bad.
but after some mods, they blew me away.
First off, without any mods they are already super comfortable.
and they don't sound too bad, they do lack some in the highs.
They do have good clarity and are very well built with nice thick enough earpads that don't tend to get hot and sweaty overtime. Another drawback is they don't fold up all the way.
So, onto the modifications I've done. First I replaced the drivers with the ones from a philips shl9560 headphone. now they are really the most fun and clear headphones I have ever listened to. They have a really punchy sound but still well balanced and I've been able to hear more details in various songs.
I've chipped some plastic on the hinghes away as well to allow the cups to spin almost 180 degree. and replaced the cable with a jack to have a removable cable, becuase I'm not a fan of the curly cable that is originally permanently attached.
But straight out of the box, they are ok. For tracking and handing out to a musician in the studio, they would to the job just fine. I wouldn't reccoment them for studio monitoring.
This is a perfect headphone for doing mods onto and not breaking the bank!
these are amazing
these headphone are great, really comfortable, really nice quality and really nice sound as well, for the price these headphones are great. recommend to anyone
