Does the job

I got 3 of these and have been using it for about 4-5 years now. On 2 of these units, 1 to 2 of the output have a static sound so im left with 4 to 5 usable outs. Apart from that all is good.

Read the Manual

Not easy to figure out. This is mostly because once you get it to do what you want you just save it and that's it. If you have to go back to make changes you will need to read the manual again.

Brilliant piece of equipment. I use it to split my signal in an active 2 way 10K rig. Never let me down yet.. just don't lose the manual.

A lot of functions in a processor

It has all the functions I could think of, or even use. The only thing is that the user interface is a bit unclear to work with.

Great budget processor

Great value, have two of them, second from aftermarket. If you dont need any super advanced features, this will do for most PA just fine.

Good product!

A lot of different settings, simple and intuitive interface. No audio distortion noticed, adds variability to manage your sound system. I bought it on the recommendation of a friend and did not regret it. Fully worth of the price.

Very configurable, well featured with digital input options

I use this to feed a number of amplifiers for different types of speakers in a small venue. It's very configurable and has AES/EBU if you wish to use digital inputs. Great value for the price

Perfect for starters

Perfect for those, who are just starting out with audio.

I personally was in need of a crossover, but considering the price of this processor i pick'ed it because i thought i would get the most for my money. And i really think i was right. This unit has pretty much all the features you would need in a speaker processing unit, and the sound quality is very good considering the price.

One of the main things that got me pretty much addicted to this unit, was it's simple layout and easy to use functions.

5 stars from me :)

Very good

It's great. I wish it had a tad more onboard processing to be able to handle more EQ, and has more narrow Q's for finer EQ tuning and various other parameters, but for its price point, it's well worth the buy.

Sounds good though. I've got it running through some EV's, A8X's and my sub and they all sound great with the adjustments made with tthe processor

Very good once you know how to setup!

Once you have a play with all the features it's great!

fr the price its for sure the best you can get, but after having it for a whle someof the pieces do get used pretty fast, but overall its a pretty good product.

A good unit for your money

I'm not the most experienced sound eng, but this system really helped me get a much clearer sound.

The functions are great, the firmware installed works well. The software to connect to PC is not the best one, outdated and complicated.

Connects via serial port only, you need a adaptor to USB and the connection is not stable at all, crashes past 30mins. EQ, delays, compressor and limiter all work perfect but sometimes if configured via PC the device doesn't apply all the parameters.

You can perfectly use all functions on the hardware screen itself, but it takes more time. I don't know if it's possible to use 3rd party software to apply configuration, if anybody knows please let me know.

Sound quality is great and I/O robust, all XLR plugs and pins are golden and solid.

The device is robust and well built but it could have more outputs, a 8 channel would have been great!

Overall a good equipment worth the money to an entry level professional audio experience. Perfect for installment on mobile gigs, bars, or small clubs.

Can?t beat the price /quality

Used in low to mid volume service in several church and seminars.

Easy to configure and very useful for line delay and crossover settings for sound alignment of front fill, subs, FOH and back rows delay speakers. In this price range can?t find any better.

Punches above its price

For something with such a great value, this unit has proved to be reliable, versatile and much worth the purchase price. I bought one of these units in order to properly manage my small PA system (2 ZLX12P'S and 1 ETX18SP.

I am now able to use my ZLX12P's for bigger crowds now I can EQ them, It gave me the ability to set a high pass filter on the ETX18SP at 40hz in order to save the driver.

I have not yet had any issues but I do wish that it used different connectors to connect the unit to its software however it is very usable just by using the unit display. As the parametric EQ is difficult to use at first, you will get used to it after an hour or so (If new to system EQ's) and it has proven to be a tremendously useful asset to my system.

Great buy, one of the only Behringer products I can truly support.

Versatile, Good sound and good value

Amazingly versatile crossover / equaliser / delay etc.

I used one of these to provide separate equalisation to two different pairs of speakers, time delay to the rear pair with separate Low Pass filter to central woofer (i.e. 2 ins, 5 outs). Also provides volume limiting (as this was an installed system which we did not want turned up too loud - spoil sports!).

It takes a while to get the hang of setting up it from the front panel - bit of a learning curve, and parametric equalisation needs a lot more thought than graphic. Only small gripe is that the bar graphs are relative to about +20 dBu (i.e. peak at full input) so will tend to be on the bottom few segments with normal mixer output levels.

great processing but no longer accepts Memory card

The Ultradrive Speaker processor has great processing power, but no longer accepts PCMCIA memory cards. With a compact flash or SD Card adapter, which allowed quick and easy transfer and backup of settings - now you have to use a laptop.

Great Unit

I know so many pa hire companies and venues that use these units including myself and can not rate them enough, easy to set up and the speaker configurations are so flexible. Also very reliable! This unit Rocks :D

Loudspeaker manager

Great product, now own 4 of these and all work very well. Slightly annoying that the global/page lock(s) disable remote control as well, but a cheap protection panel does the job.

Standard Behringer - great price/functionality, compromise on quality/sound

Great functionality, outstanding for the price. Quality suffers a bit in terms of robustness and sound quality.
