Competes with the high end DI's

I use 2 of these DI's to send my guitar signals to the PA and if use these or the (much more expensive) ones the PA-people provide, there is no difference in sound.

The only little con is that the on/off switch doesn't need a lot to be engaged. Can be a nuisance when transported in a bag with other small stuff.

But it does work on phantom power.

Solid workhorse

gave life to my cheapo violin pickup. fully featured and built like a tank. sounds better than you'd expect from the price but doesn't match the performance of the expensive models if you intend use it in high-powered applications - still more than adequate for the right situations or as a backup unit for any situation.

Solid and reliable.

Solid, Rugged, Workhorse - these are all words than spring to mind.

Its a tough little DI box, sounds and works fine - would replace without question if lost or broken.

Value

The DI box has a very quality feel to it with the all metal case. The signal is very clear and I have no humming. I used this box to connect both acoustic as well as electric guitar to a mixer. I've even ran the electric via a 5W amp and that works well. The attenuators do a good job in managing signal strength too.

Again nice for its money

It does the job, without hearable distortions (or at least they sound pleasant:)). The only thing I m unhappy with - it makes a click when switching on phantom. Showing that signal is just enabled without gradual increase, as in more expensive models. But this is really minor, so far I m happy with it.

Great value product

I have several of these and use them for many things, but mainly to split guitar and bass to track a clean track in the studio. They are bombproof build quality and easy to use.

Highly recommended to have in your gig bag or in the studio.

Robust DI

We regularly use 2 of these DI boxes (phantom powered), and very pleased with them. We connect any of the following: keyboard, acoustic guitar with pickup, even a ukulele microphone. The 3 padding levels allows a variety of uses.

Does the Job

Does exactly what its suppossed to do within its price point...good value.

Best in this price range

It does what a di-box does but at a very compelling price, and it's built like a tank. The only thing I could nitpick is the size of this thing, but again, given the competitive price, it is an absolute bargain.

BEST DI FOR THE BUCK

value for money excellent quality!!!!

The DI you need

I took it to connect guitar to audio interface. It does the job well but I found that there are more things to do with as it has the db drop switches. I also use it to connect the amp to audio interface now. The construction is nice and I would describe it thick as a brick. No way it can break.

Excellent DI for it's price

It's not only the high quality, balanced sound it delivers for my guitars, but also it's a very well made, solid product. I am very happy using it!

Excellent value

My bass guitar amp does not have a DI out, so this has had a permanent place in my gig bag for years. Even well equipped venues sometimes run out of DI boxes and this box has often saved the day.

I also use it as an additional XLR tap off from my bass to my in ear monitor mixer, to allow me to mix my bass level with the rest of the band without having to signal to the monitor mix engineer,

In a pinch I've used it for studio recording too.

Changing the battery is a bit tricky, but no big deal as the battery is only a backup - the box is usually driven by phantom power from the mixing desk.

Would definitely buy again if it went missing.
