Super DI Box

I have several of these behringer DI100 Ultra-DI boxes and they have all worked without fault for many years. I have used with keyboards and acoustic guitars and they boost the signal into the desk and provide a very clear pure sound. Every working musician should have one of these value for money DI units, works with phantom power!

Sweet

This product is quality!

The guitar sounds crystal clear coming through it and, even better, is only ¤44!!

I would definitely recommend to any acoustic guitar players who play live regularly, you won't be disappointed!

Totally worth it!

I'm very satisfied with this product! I'm using it every day in my project studio and also in live situations! Massive piece of gear!

fantastic quality to price ratio

We've just bought more of these after using four for a number of years with no significant wear and tear issues. Pads and lifts both work well and aren't noisy. Battery life is good, although we have mostly run on phantom.

The Ford Focus of DI boxes

It's really hard to beat this DI. It's not the absolute best in terms of sound quality, and it can get a little bit hissy when gained right up at the desk, but you really can't break it, and you see it used right across the industry spectrum, from the lowest technological gigs up to some surprising heights.

We must have over 20 of them and they just do what you need day in, day out, at a great price.

They've been making these for over 10 years now so they must be doing something right.

Excellent DI unit

The Behringer DI100 Ultra-DI is the best DI unit I have. For the Price the Quality is surprisingly good and would easily stand up to some of the more expensive units. The ground lift is functional and the dB filters are excellent. I use a few of these in all of my studio and live applications and it works well with all kinds of instruments. Highly Recommended.

Solid and trusted

Behringer is one of those brands that people either love or hate. Personally beringer make some real gems which are sold at very reasonable prices. The DI100 DI box is one of these. Having purchased multiple DI boxes over the years I have found the Behringer to be well worth the money. I have purchased these for both myself and other clients. These clients range from churches, bands to schools. In all the time I have used them I have never had an issue. The boxes are well built and feel solid. The rubber edges make them more durable especially when they are on a stage floor. There are two pads which help adjust signals that are two high. From a price perspective they are excellent. Sound quality is good and unless you are running the highest quality PA and with the top musicians these will sound perfectly fine.

These are a solid and trusted unit which I always keep in my box.

Value for money

I play electro-acoustic guitar in my band, and go straight into the PA. This is fine when we have our own PA, but frequently we have to use the venue's PA and mixing desk. You can face various situations:

- XLR cable snake to a mixing desk 20m away;

- No DI boxes available;

- Mixing desk is low quality with only mic inputs;

- Mixing desk has no phantom power.

I have had all these, and a DI box like this is invaluable because it can be battery or phantom powered, it has pad switches to reduce the output, and it is robust and cheap! If I was using my own DI all the time I would proably get a more expensive "industry-standard" DI, but this is fine for occasional use.

Great splitter boxes for stage and studio

We got three of these fir road and recording applications. Despite being thrown around a bit on stage and stepped on quite a few times, they have shrugged all that off. The splitter ability and phantom power options have proved particular useful, even just to change from jack to xlr connection. Love 'em!

Good DI-box

As a Bass player in a Band I expect a DI-box provided if a professional PA company is hired.

But we play small clubs where this is not for sure. So I better wanted to be prepared.

Money is short, but it should be an active DI-Box for better signal handling.

I am a little bit skeptical about Behringer because I have had some issues with some of their products in the past.

After reading some test reports I decided to give it a try.

Testing it for my own first, later live, I can say that the DI-100 is doing the job.

It can be powered either by 9v battery or by 48V Phantom power. Connectors are XLR/jack input, jack link out, XLR out and it features a 20/40dB pad.

The metal housing with rubber corners is very stable. These are the pros.

The only negative I´ve found is that to place the 9V battery is very tricky.

But I can live with that and for the price it´s a good value.

A perfect DI-box

I've had many DI-boxes from pretty much all price categories, but the Behringer Ultra-DI has the best price-quality ratio.

The box itself is a sturdy metallic box. It can be felt that this box is designed to be in heavy use. It's a bit heavy, it's not the tiniest or the biggest one and its durable.

It has all the features that a professional DI-box needs. It has the attenuators, ground lift, two option power supply, a link and a xlr-input along with the jack-input which is usually the only input in this price category.

I can't say there is any negative sides on this product. It has no noise and it has never let me down. Always working properly as DI-box is ought to be.

Behringer Di Box

Bought to use with my bass to allow me to DI the signal into the PA, the unit itself is bombproof !!, works just as it should although i would have liked a 6.3mm line out rather than the XLR but thats just me being fussy :)

Great, flexible DI with faithful sonic transfer

Ignore anyone who says otherwise - Behringer make perfectly good DI boxes.

They are quiet, hum proof and straightforward.

The twin -20dB pads permit both low and high power sources to be fed onwards for FOH mixing.

Well made, quiet and good reproduction, better than most of the competition which cost far more. Well engineered Mr Behringer.

Solid Box

Great box for gigging, solid well made aluminium case with rubber corners.

Does exactly whats needed. Behringer are not renowned for their acoustic brilliance, but this box is clean & does everything a gigging band needs.

What can I say to an industry standard piece of kit. It does what it says on the box and does it excellently every time.
