Great value, good monitor

Great value for a monitor that's powerful enough, has two inputs with a good usable EQ, pass-through, even a feedback filter (which I never used though). For this price you get a lot of features in a compact and solid package. May not be the best sounding monitor out there but hey, it's a stage monitor, not studio equipment or anything, it fine.

Very good quality and value for money

This was so good for the money, I bought another. Also very good as a practice PA.

No sound

There is no sound coming from the unit. No sound when I turn it on. I've turned everything up to maximum. I've tried to sing through it and play the guitar through it.

Great Quality, Only Just Loud Enough

I play in covers bands in pubs and other small to medium sized venues. I monitor everything, and the Behringer F1220D handles the job well. The quality is fantastic and the guys in the bands are delighted at how well they hear everything now. However, I'm driving them to the max and there's very little headroom! These would not be suitable for larger venues, but they are very compact and versatile - perfect for my current use!

Decent Behringher quality

Bought this mainly for monitoring purposes for acoustic gigs. Does its job well, main issue is a significant power level difference between line and mic input. Used it a few times also as a speaker for acoustic gigs in a small bar and it did its job quite well. If you are on a budget and do not want to spend too much € on a monitor adn you do not have too loud drummer, this could be a good choice for you.

Good for pub gigs

We use three of these for our Rock covers band.

They work perfectly for us. Sound is clear and just loud enough.

If you're going to be playing bigger venues than the local pub then you may want something more powerful.

Don't buy Behringer... Why not?

The most convenient wedges. No competitor at this price.

Perfect for rehearsal/smallish venues.

Perhaps a little colouring in the mids, with some use the woofer will "mature". Amply satisfied, another proof that Beringer deserves more attention... what once were cheap products now seems to be excellent cheap products.

Extremely lightweight and powerful: I was not able to find any frequency response curve, and tested rather rudimentarily with a SPL meter: 45 Hz to 19000 for sure!

By the way, they're driven by a Behringer Xenyx q1202 USB.

Who said "don't buy Behringer"? ;)

UPDATE: after 6 months, the bass repsonse got a tad more deep. So far, so good. Using for rehearsal with main volume at 2, and the filter is perfect to eliminate any resonance in the room.

UPDATE: after three years, wedge #2 left us: as already known for this product, it stops after 10-15 minutes: thermal protection. Well, I'm looking to replace the whole innards, case and speakers cannot be wasted!

And, still: cheap and did (sadly, did) their job. Honest.

Does All I Needed

I wasn't sure about this Behringer foldback active wedge but after reading reviews I bought one, well it is great easy to set up and be heard without feedback. In fact it is also great as a stand alone active speaker as I used it for a Book SLide presentation dinner the other day with a radio mic and got no complaints from the back of not being able to hear the speaker commentary. So yes I recommend this product as for the price it is an awesome choice for me

perfect for taking to small live venues

awesome sound when the guy that manages the stage at the live shows doesn't have a proper monitor to help at all.. so this is perfect:D

Behringer F1220D Eurolive Active 2-Way Floor Monitor

Awsome monitor! Super affordable price. Ultra compact! Its lightweight. It has built in great limiter, so your monitor is guarded against overloading and against unwanted signal distortion. It has ultra easy to use user interface. All connections and controls are located on front pannel - everything is at your eye and easy to reach! There are 3 great EQ controls, 2 levels one for MIC and the second one for LINE, and a manual feedback filter control which is easy to adjust in a few seconds (a must have feature). You can connect one microphone (XLR) + one line signal (XLR) and you've got one line out XLR for connecting more monitors for example. The monitor features 12" speaker and 3" HF speaker. The design of the monitor is great for both applications floor and on speaker stand.

I use Behringer F1220D both live and at rehersals.

Many thanks for such a good equipment.

I definitely recommend Behringer F1220D.

Decent monitor for rehearsals and live performance

We use this in a rehearsing room mostly. We're a hardhitting rock/punk band, and have this monitor positioned at the singers feet. This made a WORLD of difference for him! He could hear himself clearly! Which did wonders for his vocal clarity. Also, the monitor presents a decent and clear sound, and you can push it without overdriving the speakers.

Don't make the mistake to believe you can use this monitor for more then one person, it's not powerfull enough. But for just one person, it's fine! You can use it on stage without a problem.

Nice little devil...

I bought this unit to use it as vocal monitor in a small practice place where we have rehersals. It does very good job, sounds great with some reverb on it, its noisless (which suprised me) and it does punch if you turn mic level clockwise. I haven't tested it outside but I'm shure it will do proper job. Dont expect it to be awesome on big stage because its just to small, but for the purpose and price I think you can't miss with this unit. Build quality is very good, sturdy and nice finish. There is only thing which I find odd is Line input level. Line level is way to quiet, I tested it with passive DI box and guitar but signal was just to low to be usefull. Then I replaced passive DI with active DI and level was OK. Nevertheless great product in its price range, very good for practicing and small venues.

Behringer F1220D EUROLIVE

Reasonable good, works well enough for small setups with a one or two piece but lacks the power before clipping for live band use. Light and easy to carry and not expensive.
