Very happy - problem solved

For quite some time, my windows PC created a unpleasant background grinding / interference / vintage modem type of noise before I inserted the HD400 between my ZOOM R8 sound card and my amplifier. The difference was immediate and the unit is working PERFECTLY, creating a very quiet sound floor when I'm using my DAW or playing tunes from the desktop. One extra thing to mention - it is passive - no power is required. Just some jack plug connecting cables.

Excellent value and v v simple to use

Fixed My Audio Issues

I was getting a feedback buzz or hum through my monitors whenever I played video games and this fixed the issue 100$.

Definitely worth the buy if you're having buzzing or humming issues.

Magically works

Totally removed a ground loop on ADAM T5V's caused by computer. It needs more cables but it works ! (Setup is: Computer => DAC USB => Headphone amp/ Preamp => RCA => Behringer HD400 => Bal Jack to XLR => ADAM T5V's)

Probably the most amazing semi-modular synth out there.

This is now already a classic. The amazing tone, the design, the unparalleled possibilities in such a small device is unbelievable. For 2 years now I have been making the most crazy things with it and I have now a 15U eurorack modular system and the 0-coast is still there pushing the boundaries. Together with the 0-ctrl is a hell of a combo! Recommended to anyone who wants to start with modular synthesis.

Still in the package

I bought this to eliminate some humming, but the noise was already gone before I could even unpackage it. Was it in my head? Possibly it works by just being in the room! If so, it's magic. 5 stars.

Works as intended

When I connected my PC to my mixer it introduced a ground loop. This little box completely removes that. Very easy installation and does exactly what it says it does.

Also very nice metal construction, it looks like a proper piece of equipment :)

It works!

It's passive but the volume drop is minimal.

Works as advertised (of course you have to know what you want it for) and feels very sturdy, I bet it can take a beating.

The only (minor) downside is the inputs and outputs are too close together.

Magic box!

Use it with a Mooer GE-200 and Baby Bomb. They would sometimes get noisy, especially in cranked live situations. But this little box solved it completely. Dead silent!

Final solution to ground loops!

I had the usual mass hum on a Imac-saffireAI-power mixer-speakers, and especially when the imac was active the noise would increase frequency.

I linked this tool between the AI output and the Power Mixer input and ...voila': problem solved!

Inexpensive way for reamping guitars

I use this device mainly for reamping guitars. The signal chain is practically noiseless with this unit and it also does not color the tone much. In an AB comparison I could barely notice any difference between original and reamped track.

The device is working perfectly so far, however the build quality does not seem to be that great

Does exactly what it says

I was a bit sceptical a first. It's just a small little box.

However, it does exactly what it says.

I use it to remove hum from my synth going into my mixer/recorder and it's amazing.

A true little magic box :-D

Worth the money

Working with 2 tube amps and had the ground loop hum. Installed this between ONE of the amps and the hum was gone. No tone suck ore anything. And its realy cheap. Perfect budget choice. Can’t find any negative points

A studio saver!

Weirdly enough, there doesn't seem to be any other similar devices around. As always when I buy Behringer I am skeptical until I plug the thing in and see what comes out... I have to say for this little black box I couldn't be more delighted!

It just does what it says on the tin: my Moog Minitaur/Roland JU-06/JP-08, all usb-ed on my computer do not make any ground loop noise anymore. And, contrary to what I read on other reviews, I cannot hear any volume drop and the sound is absolutely not affected at all! On top of that the chassis is made of sturdy metal, and after dropping one a few times, there wasn't a scratch on it.

At that price it's just unbeatable... maybe that's why other companies don't even bother making their own versions!

A handy small box

It really does what it says in the description. Any pickup noise or hum is eliminated. The unit is a passive and could easily fit to any bag. So no worries about battery or space.

Hum cancelation

Very good product for its price, although it doesn't take away the noise surpressor on my guitar pedalboard

A simple little solution

This little box plugged in between your PA and your speakers removes that buzzing/clicking sound you get from plugging in a laptop/computer with a 3 pin mains socket.

Solid casing, no moving parts and all you need is a couple of patch leads and you're away.
