Was expecting a bit more

I use them as monitors on my desktop iMac.

I tend to check my studio mixes when coming home and also listen to some music while working. For some reason, I was expecting a bit more soundwise from them.

Pros:

-Connectivity

-Price

Cons:

-They are a bit muddy on the lows. Not much "kick" from them and if you raise the bass, they only got muddier. However, the "treble" has to be on 10 so it's pointless to use it anyway.

Brilliant pair of monitors

I use these speakers with my record player. They are pretty loud for a small pair of speakers and quite clear too!

Cheap but not cheap

I use this monitors for both PC and PA at home.

They are perfect for this use and sound quality is enough for my needs.

Good for the price

These are not professional speakers by any means. But as basic speakers for home studio monitors or for pc speakers, they do the job.

Pros. Cheap, decent sound and don't take up too much space.

Cons. Only RCA speaker connectors rather than 1/4" jack's so needed to buy a jack to RCA cable. But not a big issue.

Overall good value for money.

Very nice & affordable monitors!

I wanted a pair of good cheap monitors to connect my hardware synths (just for jamming!) Behringer MS16 are just right for my purpose (you can even mix 2 incoming signals!) Sound is not the best HQ (for this purpose I have my ADAM monitots) but it's best value for the price! Very well done! :-)

Excellent speakers

Now connected to desktop pc and a separate dab radio. Sound quality is very good and quality surpriingly good - they've survived being dropped on the floor! I've connected both mics and instruments to the front socket and have again been pleasantly surprised by the sound quality

very nice for the price

I've been always avoiding cheap Behringer products, but then I needed cheap small monitors to check how my tracks sound on small spekears like cheap PC speakers. Reviews were good so i gave it a try. They are actually not bad, sound is quite good and clean. High frequencies are not very present though (around 10khz). And there is no sub bass of course, I guess it goes down to around 80 or 70hz maybe. But i find them very useful just because of that. You have to be careful to point them directly to your head/ears. If the angle is not right, they sound awful. But when the angle is right, they sound quite good. Much better than similar priced PC speakers.

Really Impressed

I wanted basic active monitors for my little bedroom studio, but didn't have a high budget. These guys were actually the cheapest I could find! So I wasn't particularly expecting much.

Thats why I was so shocked by how good the sound quality and volume actually is. The bass and treble EQ's work very well, and the volume the speakers allow really surprised me.

They are quite handy to connect to a mixing desk, and a mic/guitar can easily go through them! Very happy.

Behringer MS16

I bought Behringer MS16 for my entry level home studio, to connect with PC, but I didn't like the sound. They sounds plastic and the bass is awful.. the boxes are all plastic, not wood. My pc speakers 2+1woofer sounds much better, so I returned them.

Good monitors

I have been using these monitors for a long time now. They produce good quality and Clear sound. This is important for mixing and audio monitoring during recording and playback.

This is the situation,

When you get what you pay for.

These monitors does the job well in small spaced studio.

Great sound, so-so quality

Excellent audio quality for the price. The only problem with these speakers is that the power supply produces a constant hum, even when speakers are turned off. I've done some googling about the issue and it seems to be a common problem with these speakers. The good news is that the hum is not very loud, so at this price range I don't consider it a deal-breaker. If you're a perfectionist, you might want to stay away from these though.

Decent versatile monitors for starting out

These were my first monitors and I used them for playing studio recordings and practically everything else on my PC too. I even used them once on stage, inside an 'empty' upright piano, with a CD player while pretending to play piano. And it sounded very convincing. This probably also demonstrates the sound level of these speakers. If you have a small studio space, these will be more than loud enough. Ok, so real studio monitors probably shouldn't have treble, bass controls on them. However, if your use is more casual hobby than critical application, then these's should suffice. The tone controls means you can use them for playing movies, music etc. as well. And these will last you a long time. I had them 2 years without a problem. I then upgraded to different speakers.
