Behringer NEUTRON Reviews
Great
For someone who doesn't know if modular/ semi modular is for him I think this is one of the best choices, as it's very versatile in terms of sound desgin. That was on the pro's, but on the cons honestly I don't really like the sound of the oscilators.
My first semi-modular and for the price is really wonderful.
Nice oscillators , noisy delay (it's not bad!) and a lot of patch points that make it central in my modular system.
Keep it coming Behringer!
A Great Step Into The World of Modular
This has honestly been the best buy-in I've done for my studio yet. You can shape the sound in so many ways. Use noise to control the filter freq or LFO rate. Sample & Hold to vary delay time... Whatever you need, it's in there. Combo this with some DAW effects and you'll be pleased for a long time.
-A patch bay with an extensive set of inputs and outputs to control everything you need.
-2 Oscillators that can be locked in Sync. And the ability to morph through waveforms.
-Delay, drive and filter (Lowpass, bandpass, highpass)
A great place to let your creativity go ham. Also useful if you have or
are going to get a Eurorack setup.
-1 LFO and 1 S&H
Amazing for adding flavour to your sound in different ways.
-Great knobs
They feel smooth and sturdy.
Time thief
As I touch this, I am crazy enough to forget the time.
Astonishing Synth
I heard about this one and decided to try it. I have no experience with modular equipment and it seems this is an interesting instrument to learn it on yet has enough possibilities with its huge patchbay. I like the sound better than the microbrute. It can do wild sounds, interesting analog sounds en is pretty good for techno. At 299 its a steal it seems.
The only thing negative is the faceplate, which does not look good to me.
