beast

I owned the rack version by Korg and went with the BR clone and never look back. classic sound in an affordable sound

Big sound in a small box!

I love my Behringer Odyssey, the Low pass filter gets DEEP, and the twin oscillators can get thick and bassey or glassy smooth.

the sequencer is absolutely fantastic! but it can be confusing at times as there is no guide on how to work it

the construction of the body is extremely well built, ive taken it to band practice and it survived being dropped like twice

Great analog monosynth

I love everything about it, from the quality of the materials to the sound, it is fun to play and great to record, but Behringer made the wrong decision to give it a mono audio output after adding digital effects ... chorus, delay and reverb need stereo ouputs. .

Tank

This thing is built like one. Steel toecapped boots recommeded when using. Dropping it on your foot will do serious damage. It has a great quality keyboard and the overall built quality is great - sliders are good.

I dont really understand why a mic cable socket is used for one of the two audio outputs when most behringer gear comes with jack plug sockets.

The mono klark teknik effects are ok but not stunning.

Those are the only two slight negatives for me. Other than that its all very good and highly recommended. Its probably the best of all the behringer reissues so far in my opinion.

Excellent

Behringer has quirks but its no different than when buying a vintage synth. I say go for it . Amazing synth for the price.

Can't ask more for the price and the possibilities are infinite

Good value for price.

Really versatile good sounding synth. The only complaint I have is the very poor keybed, feels very toyish. Also I would prefer some patch memory over the sequencer and mono FX.

Superb synth, beautiful analog sound!

I cannot say whether this is an exact replica of an ARP Odyssey as I have never owned one, but going on comparison reviews I watched prior to purchasing I believe its is extremely faithful.

For my part, having owned this synth for a year now, I can only recommend it. I love this piece of gear! It sounds lovely, it has great tactile controls (thank ARP I guess for that design), it is well built (actually it is built like a tank, heavy and solid). I use it on everything now, and even though I own a few synths, I think it could be my favourite!

As for pros and cons - pros are above, cons, I would say you need some space for this synth and a decent solid base for it, as it is heavy, but other than that, can't fault it!

Amazingly good!

I own an Arp Odyssey, wanted another one, didn't want to break the bank and decided to give a chance to this version.

All I can say... It sounds and feel wonderful!

Don't know how the made it but this is a killer instrument.

BUT! Don't get fooled that this is an Odyssey. Sounds like Odyssey but it's not. It's a different instrument from another brand with a slightly different sound.

Anyways, should you bother? Absolutely!

The only think I don't really like is the sequencer and the feel the buttons have. I rarely use it though, so not a big problem.

Get it, add some fx, get lost in space. Whiououou!

good clone

Its a good clone of the arp but in my opinion, sound quality is not exactly the same. Also the behaviour of the keyboard and buttons. Has some nice add on features that original didnt have - USB connection is the major one thats good to have but other than that, everything works as expected. Sound quality is good and construction is alright, i would expect less wobly controls, the buttons wobble a but . Also the rubber buttons could be stiffer, sometimes its not clear how hard you wanna press on them. All good - for a cheaper price, worthly addition to the studio
