Behringer PP400 Reviews
Helps if your amp doesn't have a phono input
I got a turntable as a gift, but almost no sound came out, because there was no pre-amp built into my amp. This is a neat and easy solution.
Worth it
Works flawlessly with my 1980s JVC record player.
Works as intended
Great signal, no issues, clear sound.
Does the job, without any extra added noise, hot signal.
Happy customer.
Great
Good value for you money!!!
Does its job
Does what it says on the tin. Very easy to use, just plug and play. Ripped my whole record collection through one of these, absolutely no complaints. Good and clear line level sound.
great phono amp
great and cheap phono pre amp for your turn table. My only drawback is that it doesn't have an on/off switch.
simple and work
good product with its price, does the job
Great preamp
I own this preamp for almost a year and I'm very happy with it. When I bought a new amplifier without a phono input, I needed a preamp to hook up my record player. I can honestly say that this thing transfers the sound just fine and I noticed no loss of sound or any other issues.
Exactly what I needed
Connected my turntable to my soundbar with this unit. It connects up perfectly, I have it grounded and absolutely no hum is being passed on. Very clear sound for the money
I would prefer if it had an on/off switch and maybe a volume pot.
nice phono preamp
Behringer is always criticized but I personally am happy with it. Of course you don't get top notch studio quality, but for my home studio it's great and I don't have problems with it.
Pro: cheap, low noise, small
Cons: no on/off button
Good
good value, excellent performance.... a good buy.
Needed a riaa stage for my dyal cs435 turntable and didnt want to spend a fortune. It is a Good and cheap riaa stage, dont understand how it can be this cheap compared to other ones. Does what it is supposed to. A good amount of volume with no noise.
Not super exciting, but ok.
This pre-amp was pretty much what I expected it to be.
It's a steal at ?18 including power supply, and even though maybe not being completely amazingly sounding it's absolutely Ok. It makes no noises (make sure to connect all audio stuff to the same "phase").
The box is made from study metal and I doubt you'll be able to kill it without actually trying to. It also got a ground connector which should help you eliminate some noises caused by different ground if you we're to experience some.
The amp also has a stereo-tele output (6,3mm) for use with mixers and other equipment.
Nice price
This might not be the fullfilment of your audiophile dreams, but at twenty bucks, it's a lot better than most of the competition and certainly way better than the built-in preamps of all turntables out there up to around 300€.
Nice rugged Behringer quality, as every single piece of electronic accessories I got from them over the last years.
Good reliable preamp
I haven't had a chance to do a shootout between this preamp and my mixer's preamps, but I am happy with the sound quality of it altogether. I use it to connect my turntable to my audio interface. I would recommend it.
helpfull tool
it do what it have to do, the output could be a bit louder, but overall ok
You get what you pay for...
It does what it is meant to do... Designed for a simple task and does it OK. Would recommend spending more if you want a great sounding pre amp but worth every euro. Recommended for the price!
Decent quality for low price
not for the hifi buff but if you need a cheap way to plug a turntable into a non-phono equipped amp this will get you out of trouble for not a lot of money. Build quality etc is fine
