Fun and must have piece of gear

I got this as a birthday gift, I must say it's amazing. gone are the days of mouse clicking for programming and automating my 303. It took a little research and getting used to but the hands on experience is just so much more fun. The sound is also great and build quality is very good for only costing around €100.

Supersexy. I accidentally ordered this at a whim. I don't even like house music but this baby is always on, crying, screaming, blabbering and bonking in the background like 10.000 years ago. Todays sequencers are mama's boys, they don't have a life of their own, they don't scream if something is wrong.

Fantastic recreation of the acid classic

This feels like a very authentic remake of the classic 303. Sure, it is a very simple synth, its very lightweight and feels very plastic-like but that is exactly what the original is, which makes the Td-3 so great.

very cool device but some bugs

Well it sounds great ! But it seems to me that there are some software bugs with the track edit which Behringer should fix.

Otherwise it makes a lot of fun! Add distorsion!

Nasty Acid Stuff

For this price point the synthesiser looks great. I was looking for some techno sounds to be used in modern live techno setup, linked via midi with all the other gear. At first the synth looks kinda complicated to program but after a couple of hours it becomes easy. All the patterns work great. The filter is the typical you would expect from the 303. Then, the Distortion integrated makes it even more nasty, works great.

Of course, if you are interested in this piece of gear, you already know what sound are you looking for. And with this, totally worth it. Sound on point. Another great gear by Behringer.

fun for a low price

reasonable fun for a low price, no reason to not get this nifty device and especially not for the low price they're offering it for. has that classic boss pedal distortion sound built in, real good fun. flimsy build though, but who cares for the amount of fun you can have with it.

acid heaven

a must have in your set up. Simple effective true to its sound and unbeatable on price. You don't need me to tell you over 500 words all this box can do invest in it and have so much fun. I would like an LED monitor of some sorts for writing the steps as I have to reset but once i part counting I was on top of that. the distortion unit is fantastic and really nice authentic sound. Overall extremely happy with this box light portable sound is unbelievable and a super price. Unleash your inner josh wink

Awesome acid box!

Chic acid sound at a low price. This baby is a favorite of my setup. The build is excellent for this price. A little backlash on the encoders, but this is not problematic. The buttons are pressed with a characteristic click, which is not very convenient at home at night, when my family is sleeping. Clicking on the whole apartment. But all the disadvantages are covered by the low price and excellent analog acid sound. The design of the instrument perfectly diversifies the interior of any studio or apartment. Attracts attention. Convenient function of working with a computer via USB, you can program patterns, but I honestly don’t use it, as I prefer to use the programming method independently. The distortion built into the TD-3 "eats up" the low frequencies a little, so I prefer to use third-party overdrive. It will perfectly complement the delay or rever tool, which, unfortunately, is not included in the package.

Good clone

Just like the real one, sequencing might be tricky sometimes but the Behringer software helps with resolving this issue

Great value

Great 303 machine for a price of a VST. Recommend it to anyone who is looking for that acid sound.

Pros:

-price

-great sound, really deep

-really nice paint scheme

-price

-USB connectivity

-price

Cons:

-plastic build so it might feel a bit cheap (but it is still quite sturdy)

No brainer

I was about to buy the original again as I was an owner of one in the past. I am happy I didnt because this one does the job great. The only difference I have spotted is that the cutoff filter is not that strong as the original one but again for this price, this machine is amazing. The plastic is a bit too much but again the original is plastic too. I love the color and the fact that has midi, usb and cv. Look no further.

Amazing!

I always dreamed about TB-303 but all the replicas that existed before TD-3 were quite expensive. This one is in a perfect price range and the build quality is simply amazing! If you need 303 this is it!

So much fun

What can i say about the best clone of the legendary 303, for a price that made me buy 2. You cannot have enough 303's!

It's light but solid built. The software editor is for people that do not want to get into the copy Behringer made of the original editor. I must say it's a bit weird when you use it for the first time. Jumping through the pattern is can be tricky since there is no indication at what point in the pattern you are. But.... it was the same with the original. Yes it's hard to program if you don't use the software. But the quality is just excellent, it's really good! And the price is insane.

Love it!

Updated handling which makes programming patterns a breeze, including using it as a midi-synth in my DAW. Hit hard = accent is applied. Love it!

The buttons feels great and everything is like I wish the original was.

The built in distortion is really fun and the small differences in the sound is neglectable.

Well worth the money! Might buy a new color just for fun....

Great sound quality, although the distortion lowers the signal a bit. Lots of fun.

The 303 sound on a budget

I bought the TD3 along with the RD6 and it's really nice product for the price its a little bit complicated to make a pattern but you can watch tutorials on youtube and figure out how it works, the sound is amazing like a classic 303 the distortion effect make the difference, you can download the Behringer SynthTool app and create or save patterns and make settings easy but the most thing i like most its that you can connect it to the computer with usb or midi and sync with the DAW or work it like a midi controller and add every sound you like from any VST software! i have made a Youtube video about unboxing how to connect it check it out! 🙂✌
